· Provide technical support to assigned Sales Manager/s and Engineers, interact and interface with the Sales team and external customers
- Identify the customer’s needs, recommend the corresponding material and ensure compliance to technical and commercial specifications in compliance with company guide lines
- Prepare, reconcile and validate all offers related to projects, tenders, and orders with special pricing and ensure entries recorded are accurate
- Prepare and evaluate orders, and provide adequate and prompt assistance to customers enquirie
- Was responsible for the operation and maintenance of all Up Town Cairo project's pumping stations (domestic water, sewage, irrigation and golf) along with their utilities (control panels, actuators, filters, tanks, ...).
- Making sure that the operators are following the scheduled operation schedule and preventive maintenance plans.
Responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment
Some Duties:
- Shall assist in operating emergency generator engine and all other engines using correct start, stop and understanding proper starting and warming up conditions and procedures
- Shall assist in monitoring engine operation through periodic visual checks and referencing operation logs
- Shall assist in operating and ensuring proper starting procedures for all air compressors
- Shall assist in monitoring abnormal receiver and intercooler pressure, noises, vibration or other indication of malfunction of air compressors
- Shall assist in performing maintenance inspection, ensuring proper operation of air compressors and repairing or replacing defective parts as necessary
- Shall assist in checking that heat exchangers gauges and visual inspection of cores
- Shall check air dryer inlet and outlet for temperature differential
- Shall assist in repairing leaks and replacing defective parts on the air dryers and heat exchangers
- Shall monitor and repair/replace air regulators and all valves in air system
- Shall assist in maintaining and repairing all drilling equipment and associated components
- Shall assist in maintaining and repairing power end of mud pump.
- Shall assist in maintaining and repairing centrifugal pumps in mud circulation and conditioning system
- Shall assist in the service of the hydraulic and pneumatic systems, diesel engines and associated components such as radiators governors etc; and all mechanical components including brakes, pumps, valves, bearings, sheaves, gears and filters etc
- Shall assist in operating, installing, maintaining and repairing additional or temporary mechanical equipment used for special operation
- Shall assist in preventive maintenance program as instructed
- Shall identify and respond to abnormal operating conditions and/or abnormal equipment usage patterns
- Responsibility to understand API and Municipal specifications, terms and conditions, and become involved in the proposal and pre--‐award negotiations to make certain that the scope of work to be performed is completely understood by the customer and Ruhrpumpen and also that this understanding is accurately incorporated in the contractual documents. The Project Manager participates with the Sales and Application Engineering Departments in a review of the contract documents in pre--‐award and proposal meetings to clarify the intent and eliminating problem areas in the contract quality assurance, technical requirements and schedules to assure the contract obtains the Company operating goals. After the award, the incumbent takes appropriate action to ensure that the plans and objectives established for the project are met. The Project Manager Is the primary communication conduit between Ruhrpumpen and customers during a project’s life.
- Ability to understand contractual, technical, and legal requirements, including hydraulic, mechanical design, and stress analysis techniques; familiarity with material specifications, industry codes, manufacturing processes, procurement, scheduling, and production methods.
- Application Engineer job responsibilities include sizing and selection of proper pump, driver, mechanical seal, accessory selection and final preparation of proposals.
- Will interface with Engineering Department, Sales Engineers, Vendors, and Customers. Responsible for
correlating technical and commercial information from RP factories and buyout vendors.
- Knowledge fields used in this position include: hydraulic and mechanical design, customer system application requirements, cost procurement and analysis, metallurgical material
specifications, machining and fabrication design, installation practices, quality assurance systems, and sales/marketing situations.
