Responsibilites
• Along with Plant Manager responsible for £30million annual budget and overall pipeline targetry of newly build largest domestic Mail Centre
• To operate Plant in Plant Manager’s absence managing 800 staff, 45 Managers and 20 Engineers
• Responsible for designing and building of production plan with the help of capacity models including workload calculations to effectively process on avg. 35 million items per week
• Responsible for defining resourcing requirements as per production plan and then ensuring supply of appropriate resources
• Responsible for collating and calculating production performance and providing analytical synopsis to Plant Manager and Regional Leadership Team

Responsibities
• • Responsible for £9 million project to successful install new Compact Sequence Sorting (CSS) and Intelligent Letter Sorting (iLSM) machines across several Regional sites and changed operational pipeline
• To develop project plan for all responsible sites covering the project performance aspects of Cost, Quality, Time, Scope, Risks and Benefits in line with the National Programme and negotiate with Union
• To manage production of products and execution of project using agreed standards and processes
• Tracking activities against project plan, writing progress reports and updating project plan including agreed changes
• Authorise Work Packages to Team Leaders, reviewing their status, capturing and escalating issues and risks and taking corrective action
• Automation Lead (Greenford Plant) in the Mail Centre Rationalisation Programme defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders
• Identifying and managing project dependencies, negotiating with Union, defining operational configuration, managing risks and issues, controlling change and ensuring safety precautions are adhered

• Completed project in 8 months against planned 11 months and enabled savings of £3m against planned £2.85m
• Met quality criteria and scope of the project with machines performing 3% above national target
• Established and maintained effective relationship with senior leadership and key stakeholders
