● Steer and direct the manufacturing operations in UAE & Lebanon's factories (300+ Staff).
● Calculate and monitor monthly KPIs (Factories' P&L, budgets, output, Cost of Poor Quality, and Efficiency).
● Prepare and submit yearly budgets with forecasted work.
● Follow up on production schedules with the production managers.
● Study and monitor the factories' capacities and balance the workload between them to achieve maximum utilization and fastest delivery.
•Release Work Orders to assigned teams and follow up their progress with the foremen.
•Implement lean manufacturing activities: 5S, line balancing, standardized work, total productive maintenance (TPM), total employee involvement (TEI), value stream mapping.
•Calculate the factory’s efficiency and man-hours (KPIs) on a monthly basis.
•Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes by measuring cycle times and generating Standard Operating Procedures “SOP” for all released job orders.
•Improve materials handling and minimize non value added work.
•Review and analyze daily manufacturing reports.
•Prepare on a monthly basis a planning forecast for items’ deliveries for all projects.
•Generate Problem & solution reports, and attend Kaizen events to fix them.
•Establish and implement the company's safety management system compatible with OHSAS 18001: Review PPEs (Personal protective equipment), monitor and update the fire system, generate accident reports, measure noise & dust concentration…
•Assess and optimize plant performance. (Resource Allocation, Production Planning, Space Requirements…)
•Prepare and ensure maintenance plans and follow up their implementation.
•Review and adjust Work Orders to insure proper material and quantities.
•Prepare the Bill of Quantities for the aluminum profiles required for all projects related to windows and doors.
•Create optimized cutting lists for aluminum bars and panels using the OptiCut Program in order to minimize wastage.
•Inspect and monitor products (both steel and aluminum) during and after assembly to maintain Quality Control.
•Review and study new machines and material handling equipment and propose them to the technical director.
•Keep accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and site equipment.
•Issue Technical Reports (Error Reports, Non-Conformity Reports, Maintenance Reports…)
•Insure Safety Procedures are abided. (Personal Protective Equipment are worn, Fire Extinguishers are maintained and properly checked, Safety Signs are kept visible and clear, …)
•Train workers on new machines, and guide them through new working procedures.
● Designing, selling, testing, and commissioning of electromechanical systems and products.
● Coordinate with the engineering department to crosscheck proposed mechanical solutions and products.
● Propose new products to potential customers (Consultants & Contractors).
Worked at the Cost Control Department :
- Monitor shipment/container costs.
- Follow up on containers in the port. ( cargo flow)
- Prepared a study to maximize the number of containers served.
- Minimize the lateness in vessel loading/unloading.
Worked at the Mechanical Engineering & Industry department :
-Worked on a project that included the expansion of a potash company in the gulf region
- Studied new conveyors and materials handling.
Worked at the Corrugator department where I had to follow up on ISO standards for the Corrugator machine, and come up with new quality standards for the Asitrade machine.
I graduated in June 2010 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. I worked on many projects in the simulation field,supply chain field, and quality control field...My final year project was conducted on the warehouse design of the Princess Noura University located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia . I have also completed 3 summer trainings in 3 different sectors ( manufacturing,engineering consultancy, and Transportation & Logistics).
