Coordinate with the relevant staff to develop monitoring and evaluation plans and ensure adequate implementation and reporting.
• Manage information and reporting processes to ensure professional, high-quality programmatic activities and results.
• Improve information management and data quality, and in strengthening knowledge sharing and learning across the organization and with other stakeholders, donors and communities.
• Play a role in the process of Program Design for new proposals under the supervision of the Project manager.
• Ensure progress is taking place as per the plan and immediately report any potential deviation in terms of time.
• Collect and analyse information related to Protection, legal, livelihoods and education projects in the country and the region.
• Take corrective actions, when needed to ensure effective implementation of the project to reach its goals in coordination with the Project manager and the field coordinator.
• Monitor and ensure accountability and adherence to project plan/action plans with the field and office staff.
• Assist and facilitate information exchange, resource sharing between office and field staff
• Ensure that there is adequate documentation of collected data from the field.
• Conduct regular visits to project locations and attend events organized in the field.
• Ensure adequate coverage and documentation of project activities and materials in media in close consultation with MEAL and document and share success stories from the field.
• Regular feedback and support to ensure quality performance.
• Data Management using Microsoft Excel, KOBO and Activity info.
-Serves as back-up for coordinator, taking on all relevant responsibilities, during his/her absence or
unavailability
- Back-stops, all other project officers, providing capacity building support and problem-solving across
all projects
- Monitors all projects and identifies gaps/needs, making recommendations and taking actions with
coordinator to improve projects
- Takes on the most difficult projects under Recreation's scope of work as well as special
activities/events that fall outside of normal Recreation scope of work
Project Officer
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly activities of IRD program and/or location
- Design and propose regular activities and special events for IRD program(s) and/or location(s)
- Identify and record necessary materials, working with Procurement to attain items
- Develop and manage needed forms, reports, and paperwork
- Conduct outreach to community to understand needs/interests, develop relationships, and recruit
beneficiaries to programs
- Facilitate meetings with refugees, including beneficiaries and volunteers
- Recruit, train and manage IRD volunteers implementing programs
- Monitor activities, track beneficiaries, and evaluate progress of volunteers, program and/or location
- Write daily reports for regular activities as well as event reports for special activities
- Represent IRD in coordination meetings and inter-agency projects
