* Drives a team of Project Proposal Engineers to achieve monthly targets in collaboration with the Sales Team (Outside Sales Engineers/Project Pursuit/Sales Managers) across APAC (Asia Pacific Countries).
* Anticipates and foresees the requirements of customers based on previous data and precedents
* Takes proactive responsibilities in dealing with customers
* Escalates specific issues and provides recommendation to customers to address them
* Disseminates product/process updates to staff
* Responds timely and accurately to the escalations of the Level 1 support
* Generates reports based on team deliverables and present to management and counterparts based from CRM data base.
* Assists direct reports in resolution of escalations on the area of specific support
* Identifies problems, analyzes trends and implements corrective and preventive actions using quality tools
* Schedules, coordinates and facilitates customer communication
* Works closely with counterparts/POCs to identify loopholes and process gaps
* Support projects related to quality improvement (such as Think Customer, QMS, etc.) and handles ad hoc tasks to support the objectives of the management
* Participates in business, technical kick-off meeting conference calls
* Participates in goal-setting review to ensure challenging and stretched goals and assignments for the team in support of the overall business
* Submits period reports on metrics/KPIs/Dashboards to determine performance against the SLAs of the team.
* Plans, assigns and directs work to the employees in cooperation with the supervisor or manager to manage workload and projects
* Acts as a back up support of Project Engineers which include RFQ screening, closing of technical clarifications with customer, Proposal generation, PO preparation, PO handing over to Project Execution Engineer for further processing.
* Analyzes, explains and addresses variance between current and target performance
* Evaluates individual performance and conducts performance discussions to keep everyone on track
* Performs regular coaching to enhance the performance of staff and encourage participation in decision making.
* Adheres to the regularization, performance appraisal, quarterly performance appraisal, rewards and recognition and other people related policies and guidelines.
* Identifies functional /behavioral training & development needs of employees to support team goals and objectives
* Completes individual development plans of employees based on the company guidelines and implements agreed training/ development activities
* Monitors effectiveness of the development plan and supports employees in the application of learning to the job
* Plans, organizes and coordinates team activities to enhance team camaraderie and employee engagement
* Monitors adherence to the ethics and code of conduct and implements disciplinary action in compliance with the requirement for due process
* Understands and seeks critical information and data needed by the team
* Uses effective communication tools like flow charts, process flows, diagrams, etc. to effectively communicate products, processes, business and team performance, and others

* Generates Project Quotations per customer requests for Business unit’s South East Asia and Taiwan Sales offices and representatives
* Conducts internal & external kick-off and meetings during the planning stage, to ensure customer expectations is understood
* Creates and Set-ups customer project and records documentation deliverables in the business system; Reviews completeness customer data and documentation requirements
* Identifies gaps and proposes solutions on Engineering Change workflow processes; Assists the team lead in identifying team opportunities and challenges.
* Provide sound recommendations to line leaders and/or stakeholders by translating, enhancing and consolidating information into forms that can be used for decision making of the top management.
* Officer in Charge as support to Team Leader.
* Drives continuous improvement activities for business process excellence.
* Generates Project Quotations per customer requests for Business unit’s South East Asia and Taiwan Sales offices and representatives
* Compiles and acquires necessary documents and approvals for clean order processing
* Prepares and submit critical documents to Document controller for customer’s approval prior to manufacturing
* Collates approved documents required for inspection.
* Coordinates with factory and Order management officer regarding inspection and shipping schedule.
* Liaise with Document controller for shipping instructions preparation and documentation approval
* Leads/initiates conference calls with country counterparts.
* Performs audit on proposals prepared by team mate/s for accuracy verification
* Officer in Charge as support to MRO Team Leader. Generates MRO (Maintenance, Repair Operations) quotations per customer requests for Business unit’s South East Asia and Taiwan Sales offices and representatives)
* Conducts comprehensive review on purchase order, contracts, technical requirements and other relevant documents to corroborate the terms of agreement between Emerson and the customer. This includes item model codes and description, payment terms, delivery time and instructions, pricing/discount approvals, product warranty, limitation of liabilities and other technical and commercial related issues.
* Ensures checkpoint and trade compliance is in place and in conformance with all US laws and regulations. Also, performs some assessment/ product validation to guarantee that customer is purchasing the correct equipment for their application.
* Enters all screened orders to the factory through JDE/Oracle System.
* Ensures accurate entry of orders in the system.
* Coordinate with order entry team and Order Management Officer to ensure orders are booked properly. *
* Assists in order entry related issues (late deliveries, warranty claims, etc..)
