Manage the internal and external recruitment process for the Pilots and Cabin Crew recruitment projects. Understand the operational objectives and manpower recruitment needs of the department and convert this understanding into tailored recruitment solutions.
Sourcing of candidates through Internal Vacancy Notices and by utilising available databases and media (print and web-based advertisements); including Open Days; to attract candidates across global markets. Utilise technology and experience to shortlist candidates in accordance with job requirements.
Ensure cost-effective strategies are utilised to remain within Cost per Hire (CPH) budget and limitations.
Build professional and open relationships with Line Managers and departments; providing specialist recruitment service and balancing process integrity issues with the need to be responsive to departmental needs.
Conduct Assessment Centre and competency-based behavioral interviews to assess the behavioral competencies of candidates for Flight Crew as well as their cultural fit for Emirates Group.
Coach; develop and provide on Job Training to DNATA employees by facilitating the implementation of newly acquired knowledge and behavioural skills into the workplace.
Support Team Leader/Supervisors and Duty Managers to achieve their own accountabilities and objectives by ensuring that they are fully briefed and debriefed, provide behavioural & operational feedback on the basis of regular workplace observation.
Follow up with individuals; line supervisors; managers; HR colleagues on the impact of training programmes in terms of how effectively new skills are being implemented; reporting results as appropriate.
Report and follow up on any concerns on technical or behavioural skill deficiencies that come to light; outside the normal remit; to Standard and Procedure Superintendent and to expand on specific remedial learning intervention that might be needed over and above an individual case.
Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and liaise with business areas to review existing course syllabi and/or develop project scope and related syllabi to continue to meet the learner needs, Service Delivery objectives as well as identifying short and long term future requirements.
Responsible for the instructional design and implementation/delivering of training programmes for Cabin Crew, and third parties as required to ensure Service Delivery and Corporate objectives are met.
Support CCT Manager as required with preparing annual budgetary submissions through advice regarding resources requirements, infrastructure needs and budget requirements for area of responsibility. Monitor on an ongoing basis training costs to ensure they remain within the approved budget.
Provide leadership and direction to a core team of Training officers through evaluation, coaching and continuous assessment. Identify individual development needs and ensure development plans are progressed.
Assess crew performance and provide reports identifying crew strength and areas needing development and communicates to crew all the latest updates/changes to procedures, special information and important notifications from the Management.
Responsible to deliver the highest standards of quality service to customers through an enthusiastic and highly motivated team of cabin crew.
Delegates tasks to crew, yet remains responsible from maintaining a clean environment throughout the flight. Understand, implements the IFS Quality Policy and its objectives on each and every flight.
Provide guidance and coaching on board and agree on further development required. Responsible to provide on-the-job training to crew under their supervision, ensuring they are competent in the operation of the grade requirements.
