The Organization is called AVSI, funded with UNICEF. It gives every job-seeker a contract of two months. As a teacher -in a class- for the first time, I was able to acquire the experience and to deal with students so fast. I taught French and Mathematics for the Grade 2 and Grade 3 students. It was a tough start at the beginning, but having a personality that is mixed between the seriousness and humor helped me to deal with the pupils in the best way.
It is an organization called NAWAYA, funded by UNICEF. We attended only 18 days in order to let us know the purpose of the work. Each member should create a project as long as it is new and lucrative so the revenue of each project goes to its creator even afterwards, and the project might last forever as a work if the creator knows how to manage it later on. This station could give me a lot of experience and a glimpse about the design thinking and the management in general although my project hasn't been selected because they had to select only 4 according the rule of the work. Nevertheless, they admired my idea but couldn't be selected because it wasn't lucrative that much but motivational for the customers that I wanted to get according to my own project.
I had to be the responsible of the Men Sector, so I could successfully take the charge of the clients which were always feeling at ease when they find me there because of the polite way that I use to deal with them .
Description: At first, my supervisor was always available with me in the office from 9.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M only, while I was alone from 1.00 P.M to 5.00 P.M because she has her own business outside the office. I had to translate the legal documents. Moreover, I had to accomplish all the travel requirements for the passengers, fill the application, do the reservation of the tickets and hotel booking, and accomplish the insurance application. All these are as parts of the travel mission that I have to do for the clients.
I had to translate two articles from Arabic to English and French either daily. It was a freelance work from my own home. He used to send me them at 2.00 p.m. and to finish them before 12.00 A.M
I learnt how to deal with the stress and the pressure of the time. I truly and highly improved my 3 languages through this work. It was the first time to work as a freelancer so I believe that it will be a background and huge experience for me afterwards.
I had to translate legal documents.
It was my first workstation ever and it was a serious defy to meet clients and to translate without making mistakes. The most important thing is that it made me self-confident in every word I translate and gave me an idea about the legal domain.
