• Production planning, Raw material planning and Man management.
• Closely manage costs and eliminate waste (i.e. parts, tools, time, personnel)
• To Plan & Implement corrective actions to reduce the process rejections, machine downtime, customer/ market complaints.
• Plant productivity & efficiency to ensure the trouble free and smooth
• operations of the plant.
• Preventive Maintenance of the machineries and utilities.
• Effective stock maintenance of spares to ensure minimum downtime of machines.
• Preparing management information reports (Production report, Breakdown report, forecasting of materials for maintenance.
• Reduce bottlenecks in operations by addressing upcoming production needs and proactively resolving issues prior to scheduled requirements.
• Heading the Production and Maintenance departments.
• Production and Raw material Planning.
• Implementing preventive maintenance activities.
• Manpower planning and utilization
• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for continuous extrusion machines and Injection machines.
• Monitoring production related activities to meet targets of production
• with the available resources of the firm while emphasizing on productivity
• Scrap management for grinding material and mold scrap.
• Assist operators in troubleshooting equipment issues
• Address downtime issues promptly and effectively
• Effectively utilize and maintain preventive maintenance and work order completion documentation
• Heading overall plant and equipment operations, as per budgetary allocations;
• Preparing operational/ manufacturing budget, in line with business
• growth plan and planned expansion
• Reviewing existing processes / initiating measures for enhancing production capacity as well as productivity.
• Production planning based on marketing requirement.
• Preparing production schedules/plans; monitoring cost & time over- runs to ensure execution of production process within budget. • Cost reduction analysis for raw materials and master batch.
• Maintenance planning and maintaining records.
• Indent and maintain sufficient quantity of spare for individual machine.
• Control and monitor process.
• Recycling of materials (PP, PE and PVC)
• Operating recycling/extrusion machines
• Machine troubleshooting (Hydraulic, pneumatic, Electrical).
• Responsible for start-up and shut down of machines as needed due to production scheduling, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Select and properly use basic hand tools, meters, values and dials of machines to regulate pressure, temperature, and speed
• Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that
• products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, adjusting as necessary.
• Make sure all safety protection is in place on equipment and being used properly.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment • Trails of new molds and materials.
• Updating the daily and monthly production status.
