I am a highly skilled and dedicated Biomedical Engineer with over 10 years of knowledge and expertise on a wide range of medical equipment in specialties like Respiratory, ICU, NICU, OR, Hemodialysis, Emergency medicine, Obstetrics and Cardiac. As part of my current role, I have gained leadership and stakeholder management skills combined with communication skills. I’m looking for a position where my knowledge and skills would be utilized and an opportunity for value-based growth and career advancement while contributing to the organization.
Execute troubleshooting and repairs of medical devices.
Incoming inspection, commission, installation and tagging of medical equipment.
Carry out preventive maintenance, replacing maintenance kit and electrical safety to ensure its safe usage.
Managing service calls, responding long range pagers and work order request in computerized maintenance management system CMMS (Asset plus, GE).
Attends new equipment technical training program. Train newly hired engineer and internship students.
Efficiently utilize tools, software support tools, analyzer and test equipment for PPM and Repairs.
Follow up with vendors through email and phone calls for PPM and repair during warranty period.
Request for quotation, PO process and maintain spare parts to ensure reliable and cost effective in a proactive manner.
Responding promptly and action taken for ECRI alert, recalls, FCO and field safety notice (FSN) from OEM.
Undertake clinical configuration of Philips PIIC ix central monitoring and IBE interface projects.
Supporting the Technical taskforce to evaluate and test local national industrial health products (Ventilator) during Covid-19 pandemic.
Responsible for troubleshooting, service repairs and maintenance of medical equipments according to international standards and guidelines
Maintain and order spare parts as well carry out yearly spare parts inventory
Attends new equipment technical training program
Installations of new machines in four branches of hospitals
Prepare reports, Job orders and involved in documentation for JCI and CBAHI inspections
Assist with new hospital projects such as installation and relocation of equipments
Prepare and review Biomedical engineering department policy and procedures.
Installation, board level repairs and maintenance of medical equipments in various hospitals
Product education training to physicians, registered nurses and technicians to operate medical equipments
Prepare service reports and complete all paperwork associated with each installation and service call
Assign work to technicians and helpers
Prepare computerized stock issuance and inventory for spare parts
