To manage a well selected skilled Technology network quality assurance teams, providing end to end (E2E) VFE network technology quality performance . Through managing the activities needed to:
• Participate in developing the network strategies that are based on group priorities and vendors roadmap and implementing them across different network domains
• Correlate the network forecast figures with quality trends in a way that ensures market leadership
• Communicate the comprehensive effects for network performance modernization programs to the CTO /EXCO level in a way that assess the budget proper allocation versus the network enhancements
The main Key accountabilities and decision ownership comprises the following:
• Set short/long term strategies for the E2E Net Quality assurance areas in alignment with Group and VFE priorities, keep ongoing discussions with different vendors to challenge the road map aiming to achieve unmatched service experience to our customers. Follow up and report the progress and level of targets achievement to the CTO level
• Ensure delivering the best end to end network quality performance indicators from both Technology & customers perspectives for the different network domains (Radio Access Network, Core, Data, Transmission, IP & IN nodes)
• Liaise continuous communication channel with different OPCOs inside VF group to always exchange knowledge and best practises so that we can improve our way of working, tools and strategic approaches within the network customer experience area
• Own the post change passive monitoring from timely manner CE perspective for different network nodes in a way that ensures a smooth yet proper change execution that will enhance the CE. Put a quality stamp thorough clear involvement in major upgrades, new projects and Network improvement plans to participate in GO/NO GO decision
• Work hardly on transforming the operational model to become a customer centric based. Accordingly, Be responsible for changing the team’s work culture, improving capabilities, increasing competence level & continuously work on promoting the Vodafone Way Behaviors thus leading to better moral, engage and satisfaction levels.
Radio Optimization of the ALCATEL network consisting of:
· Analyzing of the drive test files to avoid the interference problems and solve it if found, improve the network quality, check the execution of Hand Over sequence with different levels (inter BSC, intra BSC, inter MSC, intra MSC) by using TEMS ( Test Equipment for Mobile Systems)
· Using MapInfo software to plot the drive tests files to define the locations of low level, bad coverage, interference, dropped calls and so on then solve these problems if it is radio related
· Providing these results to help the frequency plan team to put suitable frequencies for new sites or to prevent interference problems also to help in the dimensioning of the sites
· Modifying the configuration parameters for (BTS, CELL, HO Control, POWER Control and
a lot of parameters) to get the best network performance.
