• Treasury:
o Monitor cash flow, create financial reports, verify figures, and prepare financial forecasts.
o Take care of the cash management system of the company and their payment mechanism.
o Responsible for following up on financial proceedings, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
• A/R:
o Maintaining the billing system
o Generating invoices and account statements
o Performing account reconciliations
o Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
o Producing monthly financial and management reports
o Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
o Assisting in general financial management and analysis
• A/P:
o Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
o Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
o Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
o Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
o Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment
• Banks:
o classify and record financial information,
o oversee daily transactions to be certain that books are balanced.
• Petty Cash:
o Maintains records of payments and receipts,
o ensures that documentation on all payments and collections is complete, accurate, and in conformance with regulations.
• Taxes
o Ensure tax regulations are in compliance with established standards
o Ensure robust and efficient tax planning and filing with the relevant bodies
o Preparing Taxes Forms & Payments.
• Bookkeeping
o Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process
o Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
o Bringing the books to the trial balance stage
o Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposes
