Supply Chain Manager - Central Advance Digitech (CAD). A CTC Group company. The exclusive distributor for LG electronics and Digi brand for home appliances and home entertainment products in Sudan. My role is to plan, coordinate, review and manage of E2E process related to imports operation of products either CBU or SKD (procurement, inbound, warehousing and outbound )so as to enable achievement of organization’s sustainable growth and market share.
Responsible for Managing the E2E Sales; demand, Inventory and Supply Operations Planning of the following Equipment to clients;
Caterpillar, Atlas Copco - Dynapac - METSO, Valtra agricultural tractors, MCFE material handling equipments, Kalmar & over 15 different suppliers
Key responsibilities:
Management and leadership of the Demand, Supply & Logistics teams.
Cost estimation and technical configuration build up calculations for equipments.
Response to client's requirements as part of the post contracts appraisal process.
Development and implementation of policies / procedures and drive process improvements.
Management and coordination with different departments internally.
Management and coordination of internal and external audits.
Managing the Sales Module of the Company's ERP system; Orders entry - Stocking - Cost allocation - Invoicing - Sales evaluation, Profit/Loss and inventory Reporting.
Management and coordination of importation / exportation activities .
Customs Clearance Ex-Free zone / airport or at any customs station administration for final delivery.
Analyze and document business processes and identify gaps
Management of all Administrative aspects of DAL Engineering Division Garri Free Zone pre-delivery inspection workshops, Warehouse & Yards and establishment and maintenance of operations activities. In addition to ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements as relating to the business and free-zone entity, and in conjunction with the operations management role and other Engineering Division management team to ensure adequate resource acquisition for development of services in the support of our business aims
My role was to provide technical and logistical support to the Sales team. Receive their clients requirements and build a machine the suite them using FBC a Caterpillar software (Feature Based Configurator). Prepare technical offers. Coordinate and follow up with the Ports team and transportation agents. Coordinate and follow up the clearance agent. Receive shipping documents from the bank. Follow up with suppliers.
My role was to provide product support to our clients in their sites. The basic function is to repair their machines with the shortest time and minimum cost . Educate the customer with the most proper methods to reduce his operating cost. I worked on remote areas being on call 24 Hours / 7 days
My role was to make sure the new machines ( Earthmoving equipment, CAT & DYNAPAC) and CAT & Olympian power generators is as Sales department ordered and make sure the units are ready to be use by the end user as per the Machines / Generator manufactures.
Procurement & sales of electronic devices ( cameras, mobile phones, flash disks, MP3, .... Etc )
My role was to provide product support the company power generators in great Khartoum city make sure that all units are in good workable condition. All routine service and maintenance are done according to the suppliers recommendations and all telephones main stations have adequate power supply.
It was a three semester MBA with a major in Project management. First semester I got the best student performance plus having the highest marks in Business research methods. Second semester I got the highest mark in Human resource management. Final semester I got MBA with Merit in Project Management.
