Duties & Responsibilities:
A: For Electrical Maintenance And Service:
Plans and prepares all types of Electrical Maintenance e.g. Breakdown, Preventive, Periodic and Corrective maintenance at the beginning of each year and carries out duties mentioned therein in coordination with Production Engineer.
Leads and Supervises electrical section in maintenance related activities and ensures that maintenance practices are carried out in accordance with accepted standard and industrial norms.
Oversees in trouble-shooting complex electrical problems and failures by working closely with his team whenever required. Assists in trouble shooting of problems of unknown cause, i.e. could be electrical, mechanical, process raw materials, etc.
Issues reports on major problems and failures, suggests suitable corrective actions to minimize or prevent recurrence of the problem.
Formulates preventive maintenance schedule with associated procedures and checklists, periodically reviews the programs to evaluate its efficiency and suitably makes changes to the schedule and procedures, if necessary, based on feedback and field experience.
Carries out stage and final inspection of repair jobs done by outsource either on site or in their facilities outside, evaluate their procedures and competency and witnesses the necessary tests before acceptance.
Keeps abreast with contemporary technology and maintenance practices and suggests up-gradation/modifications with the aim of improving reliability and maintainability, reducing maintenance costs, enhancing quality and safety.
Develops sectional craft quality manuals, training manuals, preventive maintenance manuals and other quality standard documentation.
Assists Purchase Department in specification of items for purchase, spare parts details and other day-to-day jobs, as and when required.
Organizes daily routine checking and maintenance works.
Assists in preparation of Annual Budgets.
Assists with specifications of new equipment, where appropriate Maintains stock of spare parts and electrical consumables.
Monitors electrical maintenance jobs during shutdowns/break downs to ensure quality and accuracy. Checks the calibration of protective relays and other regular tests performed on electrical equipment during shutdown.

• Soft-starter system. Motor controls and frequency converters.
• Siemens step 5 PLC system and step 7 PLC system, Mitsubishi PLC system Omron PLC system,
• Electric Drives.
• Level/capacity controllers. Timers. Star / delta controls.
• Air conditioning system, HVAC maintenance, generators, load banks, HV Switch station 11kv, DC charger panel, RMU/QRM for HV system, UPS, Fire alarm system, Data Centers, 11kv/ 400 v Transformers, Capacitor banks, CNC machines, 50 HZ to 60 HZ Converters, LV Distribution system,
• Gained excellent knowledge of dealing with deference authorities in Abu Dhabi for approval.
• Gained excellent knowledge of maintaining and installing the electrical system for marine, residential, oil & gas, and industrial.
• Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems
• Reduce the electricity consumption in the yard by professional monitoring and planning
• Reduce the huge No's of rented generators in the yard by professional monitoring and good planning.

Responsibilities: As repair and maintenance of yard Facilities, important machines, PLC, Automated control systems like bagging and palletizing units. mixing plants, expanders, belt conveyor systems, screw conveyors, bucket elevator systems, chain conveyor systems, temperature control units, flaking & pellet machines, hammer mills, product handling units, and ship loading and unloading facilities
