As a Senior Manager, I was responsible for creating effective FM teams, managing hard services, conceiving annual plans, managing the budget, process improvement, client interfacing through periodic evaluation of SLAs and KPIs.
Qatar’s prominent MEP contractor which executed several prestigious projects in the last two decades including
the Doha City Centre, W Hotel Doha etc.
Project: Al Bidda Platinum Tower Project

The Al Bidda Platinum Tower is a prestigious 45 story Tower Project with a MEP Contract value of 65 million
Qatari Riyals. Built on the theme of a Tornado, this twisting Tower is located on the Diplomatic West Bay Area of
Doha City facing the Corniche.
Designation was Senior Mechanical Engineer and the duties included were:
• Heading the Mechanical Department of the Project and reporting directly to the Project Manager.
• Managing the HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage and Fire Fighting scope of works of the Project.
• Project resource loading, monitoring and control.
• Meeting the Engineering Consultant for resolving various issues of the Project such as Material
Submittals and System Finalisations, Method Statements and related Technical matters.
• A special feature of the Project was the usage of Seismic Restraints for various MEP Systems. Had the
opportunity to single-handedly implement the system (right from the preparation of Material Submittals to
the final installation of the system in coordination with site condition).
• Handled weekly Progress, Technical and Logistics Meetings with the PMC and the Engineer.
• Handled all correspondences with the Engineer and the Main Contractor for the Mechanical Department
issues.
This project involved the construction of a High tech Fit-out work for Exxon Mobil’s Middle East Training
Center. Worked in a Project Managerial level and handled both Civil and MEP Works on this project.
Project Features:
• Construction of a new Server room with specialized systems such as
- Close Control Precision Air Conditioning Systems
- VESDA System
- Inergen Fire Suppression System
- Installation of UPS Systems
- Installation of Server racks & PDUs
- Installation of new CCTV and other Security Systems
• Modification of the existing MEP system as per the new layout.
• Commissioning of the above systems.
• Demolition of existing partitions and Installation of New Partitions as per revised layout.
• Installation of revolving doors and all wooden works.
• Installation of new Carpet tiles as per revised layout.
Handled both Civil and MEP Works for the Exxon Mobil Headquarters at the GASCO Tower
in the capacity of a Project Lead from here onwards. Handled both Civil and MEP Works for the new
Headquarters for Shell Abu Dhabi at the GASCO Tower, Abu Dhabi.
Duties Included:
• Demolition of an existing office and construction of a new office floor as per new layout..
• Modification of the existing MEP system as per the new layout.
• Construction of a new Server room with specialized systems such as
- Very Early Smoke Detection (VESDA) System
- Inergen Gas Suppression System
- Installation of Additional DBs for Server racks
- Installation of Server Racks
- Installation of Suspended Projection Systems
- Installation of new CCTV and other Security Systems
• Commissioning of the above systems.
This prestigious 90 million AED Project (MEP Contract Value) in Abu Dhabi consists of provision of all MEP
services for two high-rise towers (29 storied each) to house the ADNOC Group of Companies New Headquarters
(ZADCO-GASCO).
Duties included:
• Execution of Installation activities of the HVAC System of the Project.
