Pre-Contract & Pretender Stage:
• Study Analyzed tender documents to understand scope of work and gather key details efficiently.
• Performed quantity takeoffs from tender drawings and compared with BOQ quantities.
• Prepare various Quantity Surveying documents including budgetary estimates from sketch
drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and Costs Estimates.
• Assist Bid Manager to Enquire, consult and coordinate with client / his representatives for
specification/ clarifications required for tenders and proposals.
• Lead the tendering and procurement process, preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and
negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure cost-effective solutions.
• Provide guidance to Bid team and make recommendations to improve the proposals, where
needed.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis, tender evaluations, and value engineering exercises to optimize

• Solicit and follow-up with required special services providers, equipment’s manufacturers, and
material suppliers during tendering as per RFP requirements in order to reach cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies and achieve costefficiency
without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Utilize advanced estimating techniques to accurately forecast project costs, considering factors
such as materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
• Finalize estimation and consolidates cost sheet & tender documents for management review and
approval.

Prepare technical and commercial proposal as per RFP requirements like Tender Executive Summary, Company Introduction, Tender Organization Chart, Method Statements, Mobilization, Manpower/Resource Histogram, Quality Management, Health & Safety, Sustainability, etc.
• Liaise with Project Directors and attend Tender procedures and prepare Tender Reports.

Apply & adapt standard methods of measurement (POMI, SMM7, etc.) for project requirements.

Participate in pre, mid and post tender meetings (if necessary).
Post Contract Duties:
•
Prepare award of contracts, checks contract documents as well as make recommendations of contractor’s valuations.
• Ensure quantity take off QS Team are within the company standards and project requirements and scheduled Scope are available in the system for Monitoring.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs using industry-standard software, ensuring precision and reliability in measurements.
• Evaluation of Material Specification and Prices of Vendors /Subcontractors against Project Specifications
• Understand project insurance basis, bonds, and retention clauses.

Prepared interim payment applications, ensuring all necessary supporting documents were included.

Reviewed and approved payments to subcontractors and suppliers. • Oversee the preparation of bills of quantities, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts, providing accurate and timely updates to project stakeholders.
