Reporting to the Importation Director; and being part of the Supply Chain Team; I am leading the logistics &
Clearance Dept. through dealing with suppliers, customs brokers, for Cosmetics, medicals, and Pharmaceuticals, with a close coordination with Regulatory Affairs, and Trade Finance Dept., and the involved supply chain colleagues.
Professionally support participants (Logistics Students) through a Career Guidance program, in order to give them a competitive advantage and increase their understanding of their chosen career path in International trade, and transportation by an overview of their chosen majors, the potential careers they can build upon the fields of their choices, as well as detailed information regarding these fields.
Participating in Sessions & Events aiming to develop the customs procedures and system for a enhancing
the knowledge of International Trade, trade policy, between Arab countries, and worldwide.
Executing the Procurement and the buying process for International & local purchasing orders and
commercial invoices, and handling the Logistics and Shipping process for the materials.
Monitor the performance of shipping and clearance companies and work on classifying and approving
them in addition to strengthening relations with approved Freight Forwarders.
Ensure customs Clearance practices and procedures are in line with legal and corporate standards and
regulations, and Proactively work with governmental and legal bodies with a view to simplify the logistics
processes and act as the primary technical advisor to the respective teams in regards to customs technical
knowledge issues.
Identify all risks and hazards in some documents and provide the means to prevent harmful results.
Operate/maintain tracking system for all shipments and filing system for all documents. Regularly visit the
local authorities thus following up closely on inbound/outbound process and pinpoint any issues prior
encountered.
Coordinate shipment status with suppliers, organize, compile documents required for imports/exports.
Follow up for timely clearance of materials from customs.
Ascertain applicable duties, coordinate with customs/port/air-port for processing bill of entry/warehouse
goods and freight forwarders/steamer/ container agents in order to ensure timely clearance of material.
Organize, arrange material transportation from Vendors premises/air-port/port/warehouse/local vendors
to destination and follow-up transportation status in order to ensure timely and safe delivery of material.
Maintains Regulatory Compliance with all Country and local government agencies.
Optimizes costs, services and organization in line with strategy and changing markets.
Develops and implements strategy for reducing import and export duty costs with customs agencies
under existing regulations.
Supervises customs clearance in the country of export and final destination.
Procures certification and legalization of documentation for Import and export.
Handling all matters concerning logistics & shipping operations and Supporting importers and exporters
achieve trade compliance, and realize efficiencies and advantages in their global supply chain.
Consulting Egyptian and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance.
Working with clients to assess and potentially automate their international trade management procedures within all major trading regions.
Deciding the shipping method / mode for the clients (Export & Import).
Undertook prospecting procedures to identify potential Logistics & Shipping clients.
Maintain existing client portfolio and develop new accounts.
Prepare presentation materials, quotations, creative briefs and clients contract reports.
Monitor competitors’ activities.
Sourcing, and approaching new business.
Prepare sales reports regularly to achieve the sales targets set by the company.

- Provide excellent and timely customer service on status of shipment to customer
- Coordinate and communicate documentation release to carrier and the customer

Handling LCL consolidation shipment, and following our customs clearance brokers according to the Egyptian customs regulations to ensure timely respond to import shipments received from worldwide agents, then report all Operations to Main Branch on daily basis.
· Handling ocean freight shipments and logistics operations.
· Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs.
· Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing
specifications, and compliance with overseas countries' regulations and fiscal regimes.
· Address shipping incidents, coordinating involved actors (BUs, suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, )
· Liaising with third parties to move goods (by road, air or sea) in accordance with customer requirements.
· Process shipping documents and information according to standard procedures, both physically and electronically.
· Follow up Custom Documentation on time, Transportation & Rail out of Containers as per Vessel Planning
· Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
· Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
· Advises customers by providing information on products.
· Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
· Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
· Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of
potential Interest.
· Contributed with Alexandria team to record best sales at our branch during two consecutive months.
Preparing draft contracts and legal docs.
Working on administrative procedures in Egyptian tribunals.
Assisting in preparation of memorandums regarding Civil Legal issues.
International Trade Law
Provided by the Education & Development sector in Ministry of Finance; We have educated and trained on all matters concerning Egyptian customs regulations, and rules, and obtained the practice license as well.
