• Responsible for all pharmaceutical activities: Inpatient, Outpatient, Clinical Pharmacy, Chemotherapy and IV mixing unit
• Responsible for Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics Committee (P&T) committee:
• Decide adding and/or deletion of medication to/from drug formulary
• Analysis of monthly medication errors and adverse drug reaction report (if any)
• Analysis of monthly clinical interventions done by clinical pharmacy team
• Presenting KPIs of pharmacy department
• Discussing new improvement projects regarding medication management
• Discussing policies and procedures regarding medication management
• Responsible for inventory management of pharmaceutical products:
• Ensure availability of medications in inpatient, outpatient and OR medication stores
• Determine minimum, maximum and reorder limits of medications based on rate of consumption
• Responsible for preparing and discussing requirements of pharmacy department for Medication Management System (by SAP)
• Discussing requirements with implementation team from SAP
• Review of Blue Print document for medication module
• Testing of new developed screens and putting user testing scenario
• Preparing medication master and drug catalogue for medication management system
• Provide training for end users on system and reporting of issues to system support team
• Responsible for selection, training and appraising of pharmacy team
• Ensure implementation of infection control and quality polices and JCI requirements for medication management and use

•Building database of clinical and resuscitation training across the healthcare providers in the hospital according to policies and procedures and maintain it updated.
•Preparing plan to cover all healthcare providers with resuscitation training and coordinate with related departments according to hospital policies and procedures.
•Attend Resuscitation Service Review Committee and provide the committee all needed reports and plans for resuscitation training.
•Responsible for resources and materials of medical and resuscitation training and determining new material needed for training.
•Assist in the performance management system. Receiving appraisal from medical departments and collect its data and preparing needed reports.
•Preparing TNA and training plan for medical staff.
•Delivery of resuscitative training according to his\her specialization (BLS, ACLS, PALS…)
•Responsible for Orientation program for new hires, giving needed clinical lectures in the program, setting attendance and satisfaction reports.
•Responsible for quality audits, follow up findings and improvement plans.
•Responsible for coordination of the As-Salam International Hospital ITC as an ITC affiliated from AHA (American Heart Association).
•Preparing reports, keeping documents updated according to AHA polices.
•Responsible for monitoring status of certified instructors and monitoring satisfaction and feedback of participants.
