Responsible for all activities related to the IT operations for Dunkin Donuts®, Domino’s Pizza®, and Head office in Egypt & Morocco.
My responsibility is not only to manage the IT department to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, but to also ensure the IT problems that causes the most problems are kept to an absolute minimum.
I am Responsible for all activities related to IT dept., managing IT team, handling all IT projects, Developing IT department with latest type of technologies, User training on new systems, preparing IT Budget, Maintaining IT inventory, vendors, and handling IT related service Contracts and SLA, plus my below responsibilities.
- Managing and monitoring LAN/WAN network services among 15 different locations: Head office, Alsharq Polystyrene factory, Albanjer Plastic factory, Anjad Plastic factory, Ru'ya Schools, Mado® Restaurants, Kunefeci® Restaurants, Drip Juice Shops, showrooms and warehouses.
- Ensuring all IT services are operating effectively for all group locations.
- Installing, maintaining & configuring new/current servers, network devices, Points of Sales, hardware, Peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, PC's, Laptops, Photocopier & fax machines..Etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Managing and configuring AD users Install and maintain AD services “DNS, DHCP, Print server, group policy, file server, fax Server…etc.”
- Managing & Implementing “Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009” ERP system.
- Managing & Implementing “Oracle Micros RES 3700 POS system, Oracle material control restaurants management systems.
- Installing, configuring and managing Ubiquiti Wi-Fi P2P connections and VPN between sites.
- Managing, monitoring & controlling Internet usage & security using "Cyberoam Sophos" appliance technology as our firewall.
- Managing & configuring Citrix presentation server & XenApp on server and clients.
- Troubleshooting any reported problems & Provide direct end-user support for all kind of IT Issues via telephone, helpdesk and remote support systems.
- Designing & structuring of networks with crimping & termination of cables.
- Installing, configuring & maintaining all hand punch attendance machines.
- Managing company Exchange Server, web & e-mail hosted domains plus Managing and updating company dynamic websites through CMS.
- Creating users e-mails & configuring on Microsoft outlook, Mac mail, smart phones..Etc.
- Troubleshooting Internet connection problems to be functioning properly and contacting ISP for problems and solutions.
- Scheduling and creating backups of all systems and creating recovery policies using backup utilities (Acronis True Image & Acronis backup & Recovery).
- Ensuring group IT security, privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Protecting IT infrastructure from external and internal threats and to make sure that all antivirus/anti-spam programs are up to date.
- Managing & maintaining CCTV systems, Yealink & Cisco VOIP telephone System.
- Updating new versions of OS and application software.
- Developing IT department with latest type of technologies.
- Providing User training for new software and other applications
Responsible for all activities related to IT department.
In Military service period, my duty was to follow up the network & computer maintenance in the (Administration of the Military Archives) for one year.
Working in (Future Group Company) for computer electronics also in Computer Maintenance and Network Design
Branch manager of (Nordix Egypt ESC) Ismailia Branch for computer distribution from head office to Ismailia costumers
