Planning & Scheduling
• Establish and maintain multiple level schedules, Resource & Cost loaded Schedules and ensure project control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance by application of primavera P6 software.
• Managing Planning Package (Integrated Planning Network, WBS, KPIs, Equipment & Manpower, S-Curve, Reporting, Methodology for Project Controls)
• Creation of project master schedule based on BOQ, planning and progressive elaboration, as well as, incorporating Design, drawings approval and procurement process.
• Preparation of project total man-hours, craft-wise manpower histogram, and cash flow requirement reflecting project planned earnings and actual performance.
• Responsible for effective execution of Project, Preparing the Project Controls plan for assigned projects and Plans staffing needs for assigned projects. Produce S Curve for resource units, labor units and remaining budgeted cost to specify the trend & forecast.
• Delay Analysis/EOT: Analyzing delays from all project stakeholders to evaluate the impact on Time Schedule activities in preparation for EOT or claims.
Controlling:
• Timely updating & forecasting report related to delay and conveyed to the concerned project team.
• Monitoring progress throughout the construction process, comparing actual status with the project schedule baseline and recommend preventive or corrective actions to the senior management.
• Reviews and approves Earned Revenue Determination Data, Financial Summaries, and Project Financial Status Reports.
• Preparation and maintaining detailed tracking sheet for Precast Car parking Building and updating.
• Reporting: Provide weekly, fortnightly & monthly look-ahead schedule to the site construction managers.
Project 1: Marafiq Housing and Secondary Infrastructure Project - Jubail S.R. 360 Million
Project 2: King Fahad Medical City - PPNNCC S.R. 1.50 Billion
• Assist in establishing Baseline Schedule and maintain multiple level schedules, Resource & Cost loaded Schedules and ensure project control mechanisms are in place to monitor performance by application of primavera P6 software.
• Managing Planning Package (Integrated Planning Network, WBS, KPIs, Equipment & Manpower, S-Curve, Reporting, Methodology for Project Controls)
• Monitor site progress with reference to related targets by regular updates of project program, highlight and analyze the areas of delays.
• Timely updating & forecasting report related to delay and conveyed to the concerned project team.
• Attend meetings associated with construction progress, and issues related to project variation orders, material procurement/logistic, manpower productivity and design/drawing issues.
• Preparation of detailed action plans for 2 weeks look ahead and track progress closely on daily basis and reporting.
• Preparation of detailed weekly and monthly status reports and distributing to concerned stakeholders.
• Preparation and follow up of Turnover plan for Housing units and all associated Infrastructure utilities to concerned stake holders or departments.
Project: Riyadh Hilton Hotel and Residence S.R. 1.9 Billion
• Assist in preparation of Master schedule in coordination with Project Manager and Planning manager.
• Periodic site visits for monitoring and capturing project progress.
• Preparation of daily report with ongoing activities and project resources status.
• Data collection and monitor engineering and procurement progress and coordination with respective departments.
• Managing minutes for Progress review meetings and update information.
• Preparations of progress tracking sheets and coordinate with site engineers for collecting data and update in master schedule.
• Assist in preparation of Interim Payment certificates by providing progress reports and substantial documentation.
Tendering Department
• Study tender documents and preparation of packages for RFPs and RFIs.
• Raising queries in case of discrepancies in tender documents.
• Take off quantities of Civil and Finishing items and update in measurement sheets and BOQs.
• Perform quotation analysis for pricing and technical requirements in comparison with specifications.
• Assist Estimators in preparation of technical proposals for the projects.
- To study of shop drawings, discuss with Sr. Engineer for any queries.
- Site preparation prior to starting of works.
- Assigning tasks for foremen and arranging equipment and machinery.
- Supervision of site execution and attending problems.
- Coordinating with site managers for materials supply.
- Coordinating with Subcontractors and Housekeeping personnel.
- Preparing work progress reports on weekly basis.
During year 2009-2010 worked part time at a structural consultancy as a trainee Engineer. Worked on Auto Cad drawings and Simple structural Designs, etc..
