• IT System Consultant for a Malship (Ceylon) Limited, group of Company, Sri Lanka, involved in implementing the Softship online Application Software strategy program(Softship is a business software application that facilitates the daily business in a shipping Organization. It is applicable for shipping agencies as well as shipping lines.), working with the Principal (Maldives National Shipping Limited MNSL), and trained in Maldives by Soft ship Limited, Singapore.

• In charge of Implementation of the Electronic Data Interchange ( EDI) Project (Customs & Ports Authority) Such as (CODECO, COPRAR, CUSCAR, CUSDEC….etc) based on UN standards (UN/EDIFACT) VER 95B for Sri Lanka Automated Cargo Clearance System (SLACCS), Terminals of Sri Lanka Ports Authority-SLPA, South Asian Gateway Terminal -SAGT and Customs. )

• Installation of Internet/Email and Configuration of Operating System Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Sever, Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, Proxy Settings, Firewalls, Virus Guard Fixing and Hardware Backup systems (RAID Systems) for Server and 165 Clients. Used IBM X225 Series Server.

• Administrating parallel Email/Internet Server running on Linux Red Hat ver 9, and Mail server (qmail), Web server(APACHE), FTP server, Telnet server, DNS server, Gateway Firewall, Proxy server, Virus Filter settings.
