• Review of Project Quality plan and scope of work

• To provide expertise to site team to avoid/resolve quality problems.
• To attend and contribute to site and project technical meetings as necessary
• To provide early warning of potential quality problems
• To conduct in house Tech training with Inspectors to make them aware with revelant code, standard and Bp procedures
• Checks the welders' qualification according to the ASME IX & API 1104.
• To prepare & review the (WPS & PQR) welding procedure & procedure qualification record as per relevant API 1104 & ASME IX
• Ensuring the correct application of the Inspection Test Plan.
• Allocation of Quality Control personnel to the various areas of site activity.
• Issuance of NCR if any non-conformity found.
• Performing root cause analysis of a non conformity.
• Providing the corrective and preventive actions for the non conformity.
• Maintiang the record of all non conformities and log book entries.
• Maintaing calibration of log of all the welding equipments, Gauges and tools.
• Supervision of Welding Inspectors and NDT coordinators.
• Co-ordination with the subordinate welding inspectors on all the welding issues, Engineering technical queiries.
• Solving site relating quality problems.
• Witnessing Welder’s Performance Qualification Test (WPQT)
• Maintaing the Welders Qualification Records, monitoring the welders performance with respect to the define limits of company standards
• Report directly to the Project Site QC Manager regarding the status of QA/QC activities including preparation of compilation of all QA/QA Documents.
• Preparing RFI and Coordinates with client representative and construction production for the QC implementation of the Project Quality Plan which covered the phases of welding of pipes, structural steel
• Assigned to this project for QC Inspection activities in accordance with approved Project Quality Plan & Procedure (QCP) and Inspection Test Procedure (ITP) for Piping, Structural and Welding works to the whole scope of the contract of this project and ensure all welding inspection activities complying to the approved welding procedure (WPS) & engineering standards and international industry codes.
• Ensure all pertinent QC welding inspection records and Documentation is in compiled in boxes file for the preparation to hand over to the client.
• Check the approved WPS & PQR packages prior to start fabrication of pipes spool and miscellaneous pipes support.
• Reviewing the material test reports of project material and electrode consumable to ensure it complies to the approved purchase order and project materials specification.
• Daily weld audit inspection according to the relevant WPS records.
• Inspection of welding consumables materials to ensure it complies to the approved WPS & PQR and maintain the baking records of Low Hydrogen Electrodes.
• Coordinate to the Third Party testing Agency technician for the proper execution of a particular NDT job.
• Repsonsible for implementaion of quality management system with in the department as per the ISO and company requirements.
