• Manages parts operations within the dealership to maximize return on investment through; optimizing Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, growing profitable parts sales, exercising disciplined expense control, attracting and retaining outstanding talent and effectively engaging department personnel.

Essential Duties:
1. Develops and maintains effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
2. Creates annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives and effective Inventory management.
3. Develops and executes Parts Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals.
4. Conducts a perpetual/annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.
5. Submits all parts warranty and return claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit.
6. Maximizes use of all order discount programs.
7. Maintains all department tools, equipment and vehicles in good working order.
8. Ensure adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Satisfaction
• Establish manage and control a sales system that recognizes and enforces concepts leading to customer loyalty and referrals.
• Follow-up and resolve all customer requests and complaints.

Spare parts ordering
• New model spares ordering plan with Marketing
• Replacement ordering with min order Qty and Consumption of spare parts in coordination with the workshop and outdoor manager
• Ensure ordering cycle for optimum conditions
• Ensure that spare parts obsolescence is minimum and as per budgeted provisions
Sales
• Maintain and build on sales to ensure department profitability.
• Set standards for personnel to follow.
• Establish long and short term sales and profit objectives for both the department and sales personnel.
• Develop merchandising, advertising and sales promotion plans to enhance the profitability of the department.



Expense Control
• Manage departmental expenses to maximize profitability and review expenses regularly to ensure resources are being used effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain monthly budgets.
• Check, inspect and authorize all necessary orders, picking slips, requisitions and purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain efficient billing, costing and discount procedures.

Inventory Control
• Establish and maintain a balanced inventory that ensures customer’s needs are met.
• Follow up on all material returns and credit requests.
• Ensure wholesale compensation and obsolescence criteria are met and obtained.
• Control purchase and ordering procedures to maintain department profitability.
• Ensure all incoming Parts are checked for conformity and price and return any non-conforming or damaged part with credit request or insurance claim.
• Maintain shipping and receiving timetables.
• Ensure smooth flow of daily paperwork.
• Maximize the utilization of existing space.
• Ensure that the spare parts Receive and Issue procedure is followed by the stores team
• Do random check with invoice and physical
• Do random check on updating of the system
• Do random check on the Bin location
• Do random check on the stock count and accuracy
• Ensure full parts consumption before end of life

Warehouse
•Receiving container packing list (CKD Boxes) for shipment and checking the Boxes while its arrival at the Warehouse and take action if any missing, damage and over boxes
•Supervising of storing the boxes in warehouse
•Receiving production month packing list (Car parts list in each Box) and checking the boxes while unpacking and take action for and damage, missing, wrong and over
•Supervising of distributing the car parts to production line
•Control the material stock in 3 different Warehouses (CKD, Local and Consumable)
•Liquidation Blockage Store for EGA and Local Supplier
Claims and Orders
•Negotiate with all production departments in the event of any
claims against the company
•Handling of Claims and Orders between EGA & DCAG.
•Responsible to follow up the Claims and Orders (Spare part)
•Order the needed materials for VIP Cars with special option codes
Production and Quality
•Facilitate and solve technical problem between EGA plant and related department at Daimler
•Responsible for the information to update parts of cars, according to the time of production
•Maintain regular contact with all production departments to ensure continuous feedback about the quality of products and service provided
Reports
•Inform Daimler with a necessary action to avoid claims
•Preparing Monthly reports to both EGA Management and the main office in Germany.
New Projects
•Responsible for time schedule for the new projects
•Secure the know how transfers and contribution to smooth implementation during start up phases of new product
