Ensure Instrumentation & control engineering activities are conducted safely, in accordance with company standards and specifications.
• Manage and control the installation, maintenance, repair, testing, configuration, and commissioning of a wide range of instrumentation connecting with DCS & PLC.
• Develop and update various procedures related to project in accordance with technical specifications to fulfil the project objective in adherence to the technical specifications and any deviations are highlighted and mitigated.
• Participate / facilitate a risk assessment and ensure risks are mitigated. And promote the HSE awareness & practices.
• DCS & PLC hardware testing, redundancy test and perform and monitor troubleshooting of defective equipment and systems to determine root cause to correct problems.
• Carried out validation tests for safety Instrumented Function loops referring to ‘DNV’ safety requirements specification (SRS) document.
• Conduct engineering job evaluation for plant modifications proposals and assist and provide technical consultation to maintenance and operation teams.
• Maintain a good working spirit and coordination with others.
• Develop and mentor young engineers.

Position : Instrument & Control Supervisor
Nature Of Work: Working as an I & C Supervisor in maintenance and trouble shooting of NGL fractionation, treatment plants (de-ethaniser, de-propaniser, de-butanizer, de-pentaniser). (C2, C3, C4, C5+ storage tanks and 3 jetty berths). Sulphur Recovery Units (SRU). Utilities (nitrogen, plant/inst. air compressors & dryers). Fresh and Fire water pumps. Steam boilers (MACHI), distilled / demineralized water plants. GE Gas turbine power generation.
Professional Experience:
Leading a team consists of instrument Technicians, Instrument fitters & Electrician for installation & commissioning and maintenance of process control instrumentation field.
Reviewing of instrumentation drawings such as installation hook ups, junction boxes, loop schemes & cable schedules.
Manpower planning and estimation, and preparation of failure analysis reports and recommendations to avoid recurrence, preparation of various progress reports, PM task reports and purchase requisition for spares.
Able to carry out technical evaluations of vendor offers, checking of vendor drawings.
Job involved in new trains projects which includes the Erection, field calibration checking, loop checking & commissioning of instruments Carrying out day-to-day running Maintenance and preventive Maintenance.
Carrying out project nature major / minor shutdown activities of removing all field instruments, calibration, installing back, inspection, loop checking & commissioning
Knowledge in GASCO DGS (design general standards), ISO 9001 - 2008.

Nature of Work:
Servicing and calibration of electronic and pneumatic (pressure, Level, Temperature, Flow) measuring instruments like SMART transmitter, switches, and gauges of various makes.
Dismantling, assembling, servicing and calibration of pneumatic and hydraulic operated control valves and its accessories of SMART Electro pneumatic positioner, position transmitter, air filter regulator, limit switches and solenoid operated valve.
Calibrating the SMART valve positioners using HART communicator.
Preparing weekly, monthly reports and test certificates. Having knowledge in Distributed Control System (YOKOGAWA Centum CS-3000, Centum VP) & PLC (Prosafe-RS)
Servicing and calibration of Bentley Nevada vibration monitoring sys (3300 / 3500 series)
Read loop wiring diagrams, control schemes, hook up drawings, P&ID & Cause & Effect Diagram…etc
Worked with various Process Equipment:
Gas Furnace, Gas compressor, Gas turbines (GE), Reactor, Heat Exchanger, Gas storage tanks, fire water pumps, Instrument Air Compressor & dryers, steam boilers, N2 generators and Etc.
