• Ensures the development and Implementation of effective and target objective of Health, Safety, Environment and Infection Policy and Procedure as per HSE Plan, Qatar Law, Qatar Construction Specification, Qatar Work Zone Traffic Management Guide, National Fire Protection Association and Project Infection procedure.
• Submitting a Various HSE reports (Weekly & Monthly Report) and to our ASTAD Head HSE unit and the Client (HMC)
• Ensure client satisfaction for every inspection and client expectation of target zero accident.
• Ensure Project HSE Plan & Client HSE requirements, Qatar Construction Specification & National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Guide strictly complied to the project.
• Conducting Fire, Health, Safety, Security and Environment weekly meeting with present of Client (HMC) staff.
• Conducting investigation of any accidents or near miss/learning events.
• Commit a Site deficiency report and site safety observation report and issuing to the contractor via transmittal or via email
• Reviewing of submitted documents related to Health, safety, security and environment (Method Statement/Risk Assessment, Plan (HSE, Traffic, Emergency Management, Environmental etc.)
• Commit Safety Violation/NCR issuing to the contractor for rectification.
• Develop and monitors effective Risk Assessment management strategies.
• Daily site monitoring to assure site are complying with HSSE Legislation and Codes of Practice. Conducting HSSE audits every 6 months and ensures that any remedial recommendations are implemented.
• Focal point for HSSE data (KPI’s) e.g. accident statistics, proactive indicators etc. Analyze trends and propose remedial actions as necessary. Ensure all accident and near misses are properly investigated report plus recommendations.
• Enforcing local and international legislation and standards (BS. US.) And in conjunction with Contractual Obligations and General Requirements by client.
• Ensure sensibility and Identifying Environmental Aspects/Impacts and enforce mitigation measures during construction and operation in accordance to EIA requirements, Environmental protection Law no. 30 and EMS (Environmental Management System) ISO 14001:2004.
• Monitor and enforce permit work systems, e.g. Hot works, Electrical works permit various, Excavation works, lifting, COSHH, working on leading edge, working on step ladder and working in the Confined space permits, working at heights etc...
• Monitoring and implementing shutdown procedure for Fire fighting system and electrical system.
• Monitoring and implementing life safety plan for end user during upgrading work in Hamad medical corporation.
• Extremely responsible for company staff for their safety through giving induction and safety brief for any critical task at site.
• Handling the processing of the Client Notification of Project work and maintaining the log registry accurately.

• Conducting safety audit, safety inspection and safety weekly meeting at project site.
