Business intelligence consultant must has a knowledge of databases, as well as various BI tools like SAP Business Objects 3.1/4.0/4.1/4.2, QlikView and Qlik Sense, Knowledge of programming languages and experience in software development.
Strong communication skills are essential because BI consultant regularly deals with clients and their staff, as well as with specialists from related fields, including database developers and software engineers. To be successful in this line of work, BI consultant must be good at developing customer relationships, which is why strong people-facing skills are essential.
BI consultant must has outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and a good grasp of both the technical and business side of business intelligence. They must always keep up to date with the latest BI tools and technologies.

The primary function of my role is defining and implementing SAP-BO BI technologies and services to enable the analysis of data to support strategic initiatives and needs analysis - envisioning solutions end-toend, design, configuration and implementation of data warehouses, business intelligence applications, ongoing business requirements, building universe as semantic layer read from data source database, build the desired reports based on customer requirements.
