PT, MT, RT, UT, PMI, Hardness & PWHT testing activities monitoring and reports review
Generating weld map for the Isometric drawing of Boiler External Piping, Power Piping, Process Piping and Vessels
Welder qualification tests accordance with ASME Section IX & API 1104
Welding Procedure qualification tests accordance with ASME Section IX & API 1104
Monitoring the Work, Welders techniques during the in Process Welding and ensuring the Quality in the Project
Interpretation of Radiographs accordance with ASME Sec IX (Welder Qualification), API 1104, ASME B31.1 & B31.3
Reinforcement Pads Leak Testing of Branch Connection
Punch List Preparation, Test Pack Review & Final Approval
Witness Flushing, Pneumatic and Hydrostatic Testing In Accordance With ASME B31.3
Close Monitoring and Inspection of Piping Reinstatement, Ensuring that all Reinstated Piping Components And Appurtenances in a System Have Complied in the Requirements of Specified Procedure, Codes and Standard
Co-ordination with client inspectors for witness and hold points inspection
Presently I am working with AMO & Partners Engineering as Inspection Engineer- Third party Inspection.
Worked as lead Inspection Engineer for various chemical, Oil and Gas & petrochemical Plant Projects.
Conducted pre- inspection meeting at vendors premises with Client representative, Vendor project management group and QA/QC department. Engaged in the preparation of minutes of meeting, coordination meeting with client representative and Vendor QA/QC department for project execution.
Witnessed the in process fabrication stages of Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Heat Exchanger, Pipelines, Pipe Manufacturing, Valves, Fittings & Structural Steel at the vendors facilities.
Inspection conducted as per applicable codes and standards ASME code SEC. VIII, SEC. V, SEC. IX, API 650 & 620, AWS D1.1, ASTM Standards, Client Material System Specification-Engineering Procedures-Engineering Standards, Client’s Specification, Purchase Order Specification and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
Assigned to prepare expediting report, visit based inspection report preparation, issuance of non-conformity reports against discrepancies from project specification, P.O requirements and Inspection and test plan and issuance of inspection release certificate as Client’s approved format.
The following are major responsibility but not limited.
To review the assignment instruction for adequacy and practically.
To monitor and assign work to site engineers in accordance with company’s policies and procedures and limits of authority.
To monitor and control expenses related to project work and ensure organizational forecast and budget are meet for these expenses.
To handle procurement activities relating to contracts and sub contracts in accordance with company procedure and procurement department activities of client.
Preparation and reviewing of Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans and Inspection Test Plans.
Involved in all Piping QA/QC Function on Site and Fabrication such like Piping fabrication, Preparation, Fit-up, Dimensional and Orientation
Laying Pipes as per MGL Specification and Technical Evaluation of demand load and Taking Into Consideration the Hurdles in Pipeline like Cross Highways, Railways
Review and Check Complete Piping Plan to be Installed In able to perform the Easiest Ways of Field Fabrication and Erection.
Monitor Punch killing and Raised RFI For Final Inspection With Client Involved in line checking/punch listing, bolt and gasket verification, witness hydro test, pneumatic test, visual test and up to final reinstatement
Consumable control in accordance with approved consumable control Procedure
Conducting and Witnessing Welder Qualification Test as per the Approved WPS and Applicable Code and Project Specification
Monitoring the Work, Welders techniques during the in Process Welding and ensuring the Quality in the Project
Conducting Visual Inspection on the weld joint and maintaining the traceability on the job and updating weld map
Review & witness of NDT Method such as RT, UT, MT, PT
Witnessing the PMI on Weld metal, Parent metal, to ensure the Traceability of the materials
Review & witness of Preheat & PWHT
Inspection of fit up welding activities at various stages as per project Quality plan
Witnessing Hydro test, Pneumatic test & Pad-leak test
Coordinate with client, consultant and contractor as per Inspection test plan
