• Lead the Process Control & Instrumentation discipline for the JIGPC megaproject, providing technical direction, engineering governance, and project delivery oversight for multi hundred million dollar C&I scopes across one of the world’s largest and most unique gasification based power generation complexes.
• Serve as the technical authority for specifications, design, integration, and implementation of control and instrumentation systems, ensuring engineering excellence and alignment with global standards across all project phases.
• Drive resolution of critical system integration, reliability, and operability issues across DCS, SIS, analyzers, field instrumentation, and communication networks to support safe, stable, and high performance plant operations.
• Support modernization and continuous improvement of the JIGPC facility—a joint venture between global leaders in oil & gas, industrial gases, and power generation—by enhancing automation strategies, upgrading control architectures, and improving system resilience.
• Provide SME leadership to the Design Notices team, identifying and correcting process control and instrumentation design deficiencies through updated control narratives, P&ID markups, and revised C&E matrices.
• Lead development of engineering packages for design corrections, including specifications for new instruments, replacements, analyzer upgrades, and control system enhancements.
• Manage project risks from identification through mitigation, ensuring proactive oversight and timely resolution throughout the execution lifecycle.
• Review contractor MOC engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and efficient execution of design and field modifications.
• Oversee daily Process Control operations within the C&I department, providing technical support for Honeywell PCS and managing control/instrumentation changes to maintain system reliability and compliance with engineering standards.
• Lead the formation and execution of the JIGPC cybersecurity program, conducting comprehensive assessments of the Process Area Network (PAN) and control systems following handover from Saudi Aramco.
• Develop engineering specifications and scope of work for cybersecurity upgrades, closing critical security gaps and strengthening OT system resilience.
• Provide regional leadership across the MEET region for instrumentation and control system engineering, supporting multiple industrial gases projects.
• Manage full project lifecycle activities from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, startup, and handover.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and high quality project delivery.
• Develop functional and conceptual design specifications, FDS, test procedures, method statements, and technical documentation for regional projects.
• Support troubleshooting, system upgrades, preventive maintenance, and technical consulting across various IG facilities.

• Carried out Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for large scale control system projects, including system architecture development, I/O assignment, PCS cabinet sizing and design, hardware layouts, and network architecture.
• Led detailed design and configuration of Honeywell Experion PKS DCS and Safety Manager (ESD) systems for the Jizan Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (JIGCC) project — the world’s largest gasifier based power plant converting vacuum residue into syngas.
• Developed safety shutdown logic and authored complete system documentation including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), testing procedures, wiring diagrams, and engineering deliverables.
• Led Pre FAT, FAT, and SAT activities for multi million dollar control system packages, managing over 100 change orders and ensuring full compliance with Saudi Aramco engineering standards, cybersecurity requirements, and functional safety requirements.
• Coordinated closely with EPCs (Técnicas Reunidas, SAIPEM, SEPCO) and managed vendor and subcontractor scopes to achieve seamless commissioning, integration, and system handover across multiple subsystems.
• Designed and deployed Honeywell Experion SCADA and RTU2020 systems for 30 modular gas skids supporting upstream operations in the Ghawar field.
• Developed control applications, RTU configurations, and full documentation packages including FDS, O&M manuals, and testing procedures.
• Provided site support for maintaining and implementing modifications on installed base Honeywell systems across KSA, ensuring operational continuity, system reliability, and adherence to engineering and safety standards

• Act as technical interface with customers, establishing professional relationships to ensure that the project requirements are fully defined and agreed.
•Develop control system project documentations including FDS, testing procedures, method of statements, instruction manuals.
• contribute in control system engineering including developing control system applications, third party integration schemes and configuration for different communication solutions (3G, wireless, radio, VPN, ).
• Ensures that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum cost by allocating work assignments to project team.
• Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.
• Reports progress and technical problems to project and engineering Manager.
• Provide system solutions, sales and proposals teams support in developing solutions.
• Manage project teams that implements customized complex and/or standard engineering solutions, usually representing significant portions, (work packages) of a large project, to successful completion.

• Respond to customer complaints, evaluate, analyze, inspect and review findings to determine the solution to the problem that the customer demands
• Work alongside with technical sales team to prepare the sales support form, for doing the estimate of the upgrades or service modifications
• Offer feedback on product development, report the product defects and work alongside with the SCADA R&D department to test new software patches for new software upgrades and others related to solving specific defects or required enhancements in the software
• Perform control systems’ upgrades for Fast/Tools SCADA projects
• Install and commission ModPacks on FAST/Tools and stardom installed base projects
• Provide consultation on FAST/Tools and stardom installed base projects
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular systems healthy checks for Fast/Tools installed base projects through Yokogawa remote response center.

• Develop and maintain control software for Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater treatment, Electrical substations and power transmission, Food industries, Medical industries, and safety instrumented systems (SIS) and relevant auxiliaries.
• Configuration and analysis of industrial communication networks and buses such as Industrial Ethernet, DNP3, MODBUS, etc….
• Handling, delivering and supervising different site activities such as SAT, Commissioning & Start up, Services and maintenance, and solving critical problems
• Issue and manage control systems documentations.
