Leading the process of Bringing in new brands and effectively advising suppliers of Kuwait
Process /Requirement & restrictions
• Coordinating between brands & suppliers importing to Kuwait to ensure that all items
regarding cosmetics/chemical/furniture/shop-fitting & food related items are meeting with
Kuwait regulations.
• Supervising the Arabic labelling of food products & ensuring that the documents provided
are compliant as per Kuwait regulations for both Food & Non-food
• Educating suppliers on Triangular shipment process and avoid any additional cost and
expenditure.
• Coordinating with warehouse/brand & Municipality officials that samples for food shipments
are being handled and delivered accordingly.
• Managing and educating PRO team & colleagues on Ministry requirements and technical
requirements of documentation and item compliance
• Maintaining an effective role in operations of shipments moving through all modes of
transportation
• Tasks within job role include all matters & solutions involving customs clearance & Ministry
approvals.

• Maintaining a strong relationship and communications with ministry officials and customs
brokers
• Investigating and providing effective solutions to the brands depending on Company
requirement or convenience
• Leading team involved in clearance to efficiently manage clearance of shipment within an
effective timeline, and PRO team to ensure all external work done in a time manner to meet clearance SLA
• Monitoring clearance progress and providing cost effective solutions
• Generating reports indicating company performance and how to improve on KPI placed.
• Preparation & planning of SOP’S to ensure that 3PL’S Involved are providing us with the best
possible service to benefit the company requirements

Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity
• Trace, track and expedite purchase processes
• Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Interact with different third party logistics service providers to ensure get best service and rates
• Audit freight cost and documentation
• Review bills, invoices, COO’s, packing, B/L’s and purchase orders
• Ensure all payments are processed in time
• Assist customers with all inquiries
• Coordinate deliveries for repaired or returned items
• Dispose of unserviceable or damaged items
• Interact and follow up with customs broker in airport and different ports to ensure that shipments is released in the normal time
• Ensure accuracy of all inventories
• Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order

• Revise and audit the invoices with the brokers and freight forwarders that are handling T&D Design shipments

• Manage the shipping administration process, including the up keep of accurate records, consolidation of reports, and cataloguing of all shipping data;
• Prepare weekly reports on the status of incoming shipments;
• Check costs from freight forwarders and clearing agents against approved rates;
• Continuously track shipment progress and communicate delays, working closely with the Shipping Supervisor to address any shipment issues;
• Advise merchandisers and distribution centers of incoming shipments.
