QC Lead is the Project Quality Leader and focal point. He is responsible for ensuring the quality of Mega Projects by monitoring and reporting KPIs, Quality Objectives, Quality Concerns and Continuous Improvement. As well as leading a team of inspectors during day-to-day quality and inspection activities for all project lifecycle (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-commissioning and Closeout).
Achievements and Responsibilities:
 Successfully completed YANPET EG2 Efficiency Improvement Mega Project at Yanbu with excellent quality that led to smooth Commissioning and Start-up.
 Established Project Quality Objectives and KPIs through the Project Quality Plan.
 Applied inspection best practices during project execution.
 Leading and participating in Root Cause Analysis of failures and non-conformances to avoid re-occurrence.
 Maintained environment of “Do it right the first time” by working pro-actively with contractor which avoided major re-works.
 Participate and present weekly and monthly Quality Concerns with SABIC senior management and with project management team.

 Participated in prequalification of vendors who are not included in the SABIC’s ‘Approved Vendors List’.
 Participated in Kick-off meetings, Risk Management, Schedule review and 3D model review workshops.
 Reviewing and approval of quality documents/ packages submitted by EPC & Vendors.
 Establish the Site Quality Organization and recruitment of multi discipline team of inspectors.
 Issuance of notice (NCR/SSR/Letters) to EPC for correction of any detected violation in any area of the project, with respect to the standards, specification, and procedural requirement at any stage of the project while also monitoring closure of NCRs.

 Carried out Inspection for the construction of process piping and pipeline. Verifying and witnessing of fabrication, erection, welding, NDT, mechanical tests & pressure tests as per the ITP. Ensuring all work carried out according to Saudi Aramco standards & project requirements.
 Reviewed EPC deliverables such as Welding Procedures, Hydro Test Packages & Tie-in Packages to make sure it meets SA standards and design codes.
 Review of contractor’s welder qualification records and issuance of JCCs.
 Material receiving inspection of Pipes, Pipes components and Welding Consumables in accordance with Saudi Aramco material specifications and international standards.
 Conducting interviews and approvals of contractor QC personnel.
