Working as HSE Engineer and trainer doing the following:
• Being a part of the process of identifying hazards with the supervision team in his designated area
• Ensuring Job Safety Analyses are performed across site for the various work activities, hazards are identify and addressed
• Ensure Pre Start Inspections are conducted prior to the use of any equipment
• Regular Planned area inspections with the a senior area representative
• Achieving targets and programs in line with SGM HSE Policy.
• Provide necessary safety training to employees
• HSE Induction and specific area induction training is provided for all new employees.
• Present annual refresher training is to all existing employees and contractors
• Support respective area managers in identifying additional Safety training requirements
• Conduct regular safety meetings in work areas
• Provide communication to contractors and visitors on relevant HSE policies and procedures
• Ensure applicability of all of the inspections, permits, licenses in his designated area
• Ensure all JSAs, inspections, incident investigations, safety meeting minutes and training records are recorded and filed
• Attend training in all potential emergency situations that may occur
• Ensure that All employees, contractors and visitors on site are aware of what to do in an emergency
• Response to the all emergency calls and exercises on site.
• Compliance with HSE regulatory requirements is evaluated through internal and external audits
