Buying:
1. Forecasting likely levels of demand for products to meet the needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels and buying new ranges to meet the budgeted sales.
2. Introducing Brands of high quality at the best price locally as well as internationally (Hong Kong China and European Brands like Changli, Fumagalli, LAMP, Presicosa, Disano ITALAMP)
3. Attended International Lighting Fairs in order to introduce new brands like ITA LAMP, LED WORLD Changli etc. to the Kuwait and establish and identify more foreign suppliers.
Sales and Project Management:
1. Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management.
2. Servicing customers from initial lead through to order fulfilment, installation and maintenance.
3. Working with the management and technical teams to develop the product roadmap.
4. Building and maintaining relationships with Consultants ( B2B) and end customers.
5. Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.
6. Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocate the resources to the activities
7. Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.
8. Looking at the pricing of products and analysing the potential profitability.
9. Keep informed of current developments in the field of prices, market conditions and new products.
Financial Controls and Profitability Management:
1. Preparation of budget proposal for lighting projects to be submitted to the GM for approval.
2. Plan and maximize the sales and profit contribution of the brand.
3. Review Monthly Sales vs budgets, Stock Reports etc on a monthly basis and communicate to senior management as necessary
4. Ensuring the division delivers the business plan profit through delivery of both volume and cash margin, maintain brand profitability and terminal stock.
5. Tracking the allocated budgeted on quarterly basis.
6. Maintaining the account of various projects.
7. Coordination for suppliers payments
Stock Management:
1. Plan & analyze current stocks to maximize sales turnover by ensuring accurate, timely and commercial sales planning and forecast.
2. Follow up with supplier, shipping and warehouse managers and ensure that quantities being delivered are on time and accurate.
3. Review stock availability and ensure proper rotation as per business needs.
Marketing, Planning and Execution:
1. Plan and implement positive brand building through promotional activities that maintains brand integrity and values.
2. Planning and managing the company’s attendance and participation for exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and all other events and creating optimum visibility.
3. Coordinating the development of communication materials such as catalogues websites, brochures, packaging and in-store displays.
People Management
1. Ensure to provide proper product Knowledge, motivation and coaching for sales and service team.
2. Ensure sales teams are trained and coached on selling skills, merchandising & outstanding Customer Service.
3. Ensure accurate overtime and commission calculation for sales and service team.
