Major Responsibilities Handled
Strategic:
• Maintain a high level of strategic foresight by identifying audit client & business needs and recommended internal audit plan changes accordingly to facilitate achievement of Company’s objectives.
• Update the Audit Committee and senior management on any significant control issues and risk exposures, including fraud risks, governance issues and other matters arising. Provide reliable information to Senior Management to assist them in making strategic decisions.

Operational:
• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of the Audit (Scoping, Planning, Execution, Reporting, and Closure).
• Provided independent assurance to the Board and senior management, by identifying risks, reviewing the governance and control environment, adherence to regulations, setting risk-based internal audit priorities, and guiding staff through audit recommendations to address gaps in controls.
• Lead audit team in developing internal audit strategies, methodologies, planning and executing business risk consulting & internal audit activities across business units; adding value to the organization.
• Developed an audit universe and formulated audit plan using risk-based methodology, including any risks/ exposures/ internal control weaknesses identified, ensuring coverage of all significant and high-risk areas.
• Delivered value-added consultancy and advisory support to Senior Management on diverse range of operational, financial, compliance and governance aspects, to enable effective and efficient business operations.
• Developed audit programs and detailed audit work papers incorporating test schedules, observations, audit conclusions and ensuring audit objectives are met, the assignment is completed in agreed budget.
