• Support all the internal departments in proper implementation OHSMS.
• Prepare, Review & Update the OHSMS Procedures, OHSMS Manual and OHSMS guidelines.
• Review Contractor Project HSE Plans, Risk Assessments submitted for implementation at project site.
• Guide site safety Officers for the implementation of HSE system in sites
• Conduct Plant, site/workplace inspections at regular intervals.
• Monitor Health, Safety and environment conditions to ensure compliance with legal requirements inside the plant.
• Raise Safety Observation reports for taking corrective and Preventive actions.
• Participate in Internal & External Audits. Ensure that proposed actions for internal & External audit non-conformity are closed within due dates.
• Provide PTW training for the department employees and contractors.
• Conduct specific required trainings for contractors & employees.
• Participate in emergency mock drills inside the Plant.
• Maintain HSE data,
• Prepare & submit HSE performance report to the executive management.
• Developing HSE management Programs.
• Conduct equipment inspections, requested by internal departments and contractors.
• Participate in HSE meetings.

• Assisting Head of SHEQ for the implementation & Monitoring of Integrated Management system (consisting of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 System).
• Prepare Project HSE Plan for submission for tendering and for implementation of project site.
• Ensure that Hazard risk Assessment and Environmental Aspects and its impacts for all project sites and work area has been carried out and reviewed regularly and necessary controls provided.
• Assist Project managers, projects engineers for the implementation of HSE system in sites.
• Guide site safety Officers for the implementation of HSE system in sites
• Conduct site, workplace and camp inspections at regular intervals. Monitor Health, Safety and environment conditions to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Raise Non-Conformity reports for taking corrective and Preventive actions.
• Plan and conduct Internal Audits. Ensure that proposed actions for internal audit non-conformity are closed within due dates.
• Identify training needs for work sites and Head office and arrange training.
• Assist site safety Officers in incident and NCR investigation for taking Corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct HSE induction training for new employees.
• Monitoring Emergency Equipment in Head Office, Camps & Sites at regular intervals and maintain the same.
• Conduct emergency mock drills at sites & Head Office.
• Collect sites HSE data analyze and report performance to the SHEQ Manager.
• Developing HSE management Programs.

• Ensuring adherence to Safe work practices as per HSE System.
• Maintain all HSE related manuals/procedures/records
• Conducting regular safety inspection, ensuring site safety administration including safety induction, hazard identification, emergency procedures, tool box meeting is being conducted.
• Conducting necessary inspections of firefighting equipment, fire alarm system, and water supply system. Training all personnel on usage of fire extinguishers and applicable safety precautions and procedures
• Make arrangement for Assembly Point Area, Smoking Shelter and displaying Safety slogans and banner at conspicuous locations.
• Ensuring participation of employees in developing Safety, Health and Environment Policy. Organizing “Safety Enhancement Scheme” for the motivation of the workers.
• Conduct Fire Mock Drill, head counting of workers, identify problems and take corrective actions and train workers about Emergency Evacuation.
• Assisted Safety Supervisor / Manager in preparing ‘Final Safety Reports’ for the client.
• Co-ordinate with project management to achieve project goals.

• Ensuring adherence to Safe work practices as per HSE System (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001).
• Implementation of company & clients’ safety policy and procedures and co-ordination with all departments such as Mechanical, Electrical and Civil to achieve high standards of safety.
• Conducting regular safety inspection, ensuring site safety administration including safety induction, hazard identification, emergency procedures, tool box meeting is being conducted.
• Maintain all HSE related manuals/procedures/records.
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the requirements of Safety Management Plan & Environmental controls as per Company policies
• Monitoring of housekeeping, hygiene at workplaces, maintenance of site access signs including emergency exit routes in project site, and site access roads in project sites.
• Ensure provision of site requirement for drinking water, toilets, dining hall, and rest room with first aid amenities.
• Check Availability of First aid box /medical support to the injured personnel.
• Conducting necessary inspections of firefighting equipment, fire alarm system, and water supply system. Training all personnel on usage of fire extinguishers and applicable safety precautions and procedures.
• Ensure provision of overall site safety requirements such as personnel protective equipment, proper work tools for construction.
• Ensuring Heavy equipment safety inspection and verification of safety certificates provided by third party inspection agency for cranes, trailer, and forklift as per company rules and regulations.
• Ensuring Safety procedures are followed during hot work such as welding, gas cutting, grounding connections and appropriate P.P.E.
• Safety inspection of excavation, scaffolding erection, use and dismantling by adapting proper tagging system which shall be approved by the client.
• Implementation of HSE plan as per site requirements.
• Conducting gas test, H2S, Oxygen % testing before carrying out work in Hazardous / Toxic area as well as confined space entry etc.
• Monitoring safe sand blasting / painting activities.
• Ensuring availability of work permit for confined space, hot work, cold work and energy isolation LOTO activities.
• Ensuring no smoking at plant as well as office building accommodations etc.
• Arranging investigation of incidents and to identify root cause and to take corrective actions to avoid recurrences & reporting of the same.
