Road pavement material testing, Method statement & material submittal reviewing, auditing third party laboratories & suppliers, concrete plants, aggregate stockpiles, aggregate stabilizer plants, conducting plant trial mix of asphalt, concrete, subgrade and aggregate base material, carrying out site inspection & preparing defect root cause analysis.
• Inspections of materials received at site/laydown, stockpile area, stabilizer plants, asphalt plants and ensures that materials to be used and stored shall conform to contract plans and specifications.
• Inspection for receiving of road works related materials and its Handling, Storage and Preservation.
• Supervising and executing projects with emphasis on quality control, engineering, planning, and coordination of interfaces.
• Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out expediently.
• Reviewing Method statement, Material Submittals, ITP and Mix Designs related to road pavement works.
• Preparing Materials Frequency Testing Summary and maintaining its log.
• Conducting quality audit inspection for asphalt plants, aggregate stabilizer plants, concrete plants and third party main & site laboratories.
• Sampling & testing of backfill, sub-grade, aggregate base, asphalt, prime coat, tack coat, road marking material.
• Comprising in road works material testing in laboratories and at site.
• Prepare surveillance report/observation note for any discrepancies occurred on site and forwarding it to QA/QC Manager and Construction Team and ensuring for its timely rectification.
• Follow up effective corrective actions on non conformities.
• Prepare and raise Non Conformance Report (NCR) for activities/materials not complying with the standards.
• Understanding and implementation of ISO, ASTM, BS, BS-EN, QCS, ACI, Ashghal Interim Notes.
• Attending pavement quality meetings, preparing weekly and monthly reports, preparing audit reports and its documentation.
• Handling all matters pertaining to Materials submittal, preparation of Request for Inspection (RFI’s) for getting approvals for materials & on site activities, preparing weekly and monthly quality control reports.
• Coordinating with consultants in day-to-day activities.
• Responsible for ensuring full implementation of QA/QC procedure and policy.
• Preparing NCR’s, Punch List (Snag), and M0’s (Reserve List) for work done by sub-contractors.
• Reporting any deficiencies in work to QA/QC Site Manager and following up for the same on completion.
• Maintaining records for RFI (Request for Information) and RFC (Request for Clarification) raised and received from client and forwarding to the QC team.
• Preparing ITP’s required as per the ITP matrix provided by the QA/QC Manager for client approval.
• Provide the field construction organization with the approved Site Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP’s) Method Statement to be implemented on site.

• Preparing Materials Receiving Inspection and maintaining its log.
• Raising INR (Inspection Notification Request) for materials received on site and getting approval for the same.
• Co-ordinating with procurement department to ensure that materials used on site are approved from client and having relevant test certificates and M&DS (Material and Data Submittal) as per specifications and standards of the project.
• Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project ensuring the equipment is within calibration prior to use.

Duties & Responsibilities
Office / Field work:-
Execution of concrete works, Shuttering works
Execution of structural steel fabrication and erection works.
Execution of all finishing works like block work, plastering, IPS flooring.
Preparing petty contractor’s bill.
Quantity surveying and site surveying.
Preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and executing and checking reinforcement works.
Checking all site construction activities by referring to approved drawings, specifications and standards.
