Core Responsibilities and Duties:
• To oversee the strategic direction of general projects related to the enhancement of the hotel. The project management covers the areas of planning, administration, implementation and evaluation of financial results of the projects.
• To develop, implement and monitor the preventive maintenance programs for all assets of the hotel.
• To manage the combination of employing engineering colleagues and engineering outsourcing companies to minimize operating expenses
• To formulate and implement strategic direction for the hotel’s environmental protection activities and involvement in the local community.
• To ensure that the hotel operates in conformity with the local codes and regulations related to all areas under the position’s responsibility.
• To manage the Energy and Water Management Program and establish engineering guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain excellent standards of quality and reliability in the Hotel.
• To establish a monthly reporting system in order to monitor Key Performance Indicators, guest room maintenance, energy consumption, operational and energy expenses, project updates, LQE activities and other specific tasks.
• To establish, implement and maintain the FLHSS&E procedures, including relevant business continuity management plans and standard operating procedures.
• To prepare annual and Five-Year capital plan and manage all CAPEX and POMEC projects in accordance with the policies and procedures.
• To initiate the deployment of technology to improve the sophistication of the engineering departments.
• To be aware of, and comply with, safe working practices as laid down under Company Health & Safety Manual, as applicable to your place of work.
