Duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions of the position)
• Successfully handover the 32-floors high raise building with tier 3 Data Centre and provided uptime certification.
• Material submittals, technical queries, and methods of statement with consideration of site requirements Monthly BOQ submittals by the contractor for claims.
• Shop Drawings review of complete Data & Voice Communications, Structured Cabling, and Low Current Systems as per the applicable codes and standards, project specifications.
• Site inspections to identify or evaluate technical issues on site and ensuring the rectification in compliance with project specifications. Work monitoring, site inspection for preparing and submitting weekly site progress report through Aconex.
• We inspect all Datacenter passive equipment’s Data Racks Fiber Optic Patch Panels and switches Telecommunication Rooms OSP fiber optic & Low Current Systems for Industrial Engineer with experience of CCTV, Access Control System, Audio Video System, PA & BMS.
• Quality report to make sure that the work is completed incorrectly and in a satisfactory manner. Oversee pre- and post-installations work with team members to influence project activity associated with the project scope in regard to the quality of work and contractors’ performance and recommending and implementing corrective action.
• Work collaboratively with other team members of Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical to manage related issues on the multi-disciplinary levels with clients and contractors. Accomplishing quality by issuing of Quality Memos and NCR for the project mission by completing related results as needed.
• Fiber Single Mode and Multimode & Copper Splicer is responsible for terminating and testing aerial and underground fiber-optic systems, updating, and maintaining project tracking information such as production sheets.
• Additional responsibilities include performing all aspects of the project in accordance with EIA/TIA standards and applicable building codes, Familiar with fiber optic splice closures, OTDR testing, Optical power meter, and Fiber Identifier.
• Participate in the weekly/monthly MEP mints of meetings and revision of SOPs for WIR & MAR, TCIR. Updates, and for job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following.
