• Analyze operating processes; design/ manage core banking systems to deliver process requirements by the bank. Maintain current systems on a periodic basis and resolve any technical/ application issues
• Collect and analyze business requirements in detail including BRD, SRS, processes etc. and map them to current and future information technology activities
• Coordinate with project manager, business analyst and internal customer in respect to the business requirements and engage in multiple projects phases as required such as SIT, UAT, training etc.
• Translate requirements of the internal client into workable models - examine business/ operating models and data/ work flow; procure specifications for development of workflow, screens, reports (via business objects) and databases; design appropriate solutions; test them for both technical and business compatibility and secure approval of test results
• Prepare architecture/software technical design diagrams for all the existing applications/systems
• Work with the software developers, programmers and other end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
• Liaise with vendors on system updates and provide feedback to the Manager for implementation. Provide demonstration to the staff on new and upgraded software / patches
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new technology projects and initiatives to support and enhance the core banking solutions
• Assist in quality assurance process. Ensure disaster recovery solutions is factored in design and implementation
• Ensure all information technology policies and bank guidelines are complied with, conform to operational risk policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and privacy to ensure regulatory compliance
Training at SAP Saudi Arabia for three months. Different courses were taken including Integration of Business Processes in SAP ERP (TERP10), Enterprise Data Warehousing (TBW10), Query Design and Analysis (TBI10), and Communication Skills. Training also included a TERP10 certification exam (Passed).
Training at KFUPM’s Information and Technology Center (ITC). Main task included building a small network using CISCO switches and configuring it using CISCO Internetworking Operating System (IOS).
Will graduate from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in May 2012 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. Major GPA is 3.01 (out of 4). Cumulative GPA is 2.61. Courses taken include Computer Networking, Network and Computer Security, Fundamentals of Database Systems, and IT Project Management. General electives include Work & Society and Principles of Human Behavior.
