Strategy/Organisational Development:
• Implement corporate organizational effectiveness interventions to support the achievement of corporate strategy
• Implement the organizational development strategy to ensure continuous improvement through culture change and workforce planning and that Business Units are equipped to meet the company’s objectives
• Produce organizational strategy and plans to meet training and development needs, and manage training delivery, measurement and follow-up
Policies and Procedures:
• Review and update all HR policies and procedures on an annual basis
• Ensure HR policies comply with the State of Qatar statutory requirements
• Monitor "best practice" to meet QDVC's requirements through ongoing development and review of all HR policies and procedures
Remuneration and Benefits:
• Proactively maintain QDVC's competitiveness within the industry sectors by ongoing research into remuneration trends and practices; monitor QDVC's competitiveness in relation to those trends and make recommendations to address any significant deviation from the company’s competitive position.
• Develop, implement and maintain a Total Reward policy incorporating employee benefits, salary structures, bonus payments, and recognition and reward.
• Engage in Annual Benchmark exercises and make recommendations to the Project Management based on results.
Talent Management:
• Assess relevant training needs for employees in consultation with departmental heads, including assessment methods and measurement systems.
• Develop, implement and manage the training agenda in line with business requirements.
• Identify and select external training providers necessary to deliver required training to required standards.
• Provide management information reports which measure effectiveness of learning and development activities in line with KPI's.
• Initiate and facilitate QDVC's succession planning program in conjunction with Line Managers; arrange planning discussions, formulate agreed succession plans and review plans annually
• Identify and develop career paths for regular and high potential employees; link to the performance management process in order to ensure employee potential is managed successfully.
Job Descriptions, Analysis and Evaluation
• Manage the development of Job Descriptions for all new positions within the organisation, analysing the skills and results required in conjunction with hiring managers.
• Provide expertise in the area of Job Analysis and Job Evaluation to establish position in the Pay and Grading structure of the company.
• Co-ordinate the evaluation of positions through internal methods and/or external consultants.
• Proactive maintenance and revision of LRT Project staff’s Job Descriptions on an annual basis in conjunction with job holders and line managers.
Recruitment and Selection
• Develop and implement a policy and procedure to attract, retain and motivate staff.
• Manage the recruitment process ensuring candidates joining QDVC fit the job they have been recruited for
• Coordinate and manage the on-boarding of new employees.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive interview process including behavioural interviewing techniques.
• Coach Line Managers in effective interviewing skills.
• Ensure probation reviews are conducted by HODs at 60 and 90 days intervals, and assess suitability for permanent employment.
Administrative Duties
• Responsible for ordering, maintaining and ensuring optimal utilization of office supplies (stationaries, furniture and pantry).
• Managing the fuel reimbursement process and following-up with accounts department for timely payment processing.
• Handling the fleet of company provided cars (280 vehicles).
• Ensuring proper utilization of drivers/messengers as well as company transport.
• Handling the smooth functioning of office canteen with the help of 1 support staff.
• Responsible for office reception and arranging small company events.
Administration & HR
Job Profile: Single point of contact for all Recruitment, On-boarding, Staffing and after joining formalities. Coordinates with Head Office for all visas, immigration, legal and administrative needs. Head of office administration and supervising 8 team members.
