• Preparation of and negotiation with the Engineer of interim payment certificates (IPCs) on behalf of the contractor for different disciplines; including update of site progress, preparation of supporting documentation and breakdown of advance %.
• Distribution of certificates payments with consortium partners.
• Preparation and reporting of certificate data to financial departments and for internal audit purposes.
• Financial forecast reports of future certificate payments for high management.
• Review and analysis of pending certificate payments; including liaison with internal stakeholders to recover the remaining payments.
• Aiding in the preparation of variations and claims, including extension of time (EoT) requests through Impacted as Planned methodology.
• Updating the monthly program for the contractor’s scope of works
• Preparation and management of the monthly progress reporting system the Stations Fit Out works
• Update of the cost control system for the monthly closing and for the quarterly review.
• Aiding the project closure; including update, review and closure of requests for inspections (RFIs) and assistance in preparation of the final approval certificates.
• Quantifying the Civil and Architectural works executed on site.
Preparation of detail quantity estimates, BOQ & amendment of orders for all civil scope of activities etc.
Measure variations quantities and cost.
Negotiate and agree on variations for both quantities and cost with sub-contractors.
Coordinate closely with Project Control Manager to maintain awareness of QS policy, methodologies, tools and updates.
Value completed work and coordinate for arranging payments
Prepare & Compile “Final Accounts Payment application” with relevant substantiation and documents as per contract obligations.
Comparing Tender & Contract documents.
Preparation of contractors’ payments certificates.
Checking budget for all items relevant to the scope of specifications.
Co-ordinate with all sub-contractors to run the project according to the approved program of work.
Undertake cost analysis for project work.
Provide assist on contractual claims including cost.
Attend project meetings for QS issues and actions
Checking Completion of activities as per schedule.
• Quantity take-off from Shop drawings.
• Preparation of BOQ.
• Assist with general Administration duties.
• Reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
