Use Access Management is a application to manage users for two assets DCS and ReCat. The nature of this application is such that there are lot of transient users, as a result numerous users needed to be created and removed. Creation and deletion of user was not available in the parent application. And also SOX compliance had to be followed in user management. My responsibilities included analysis, design, development and leading the team in absence of the project lead.

2.Interacting with the client (Palo Alto, CA, USA) to create Functional specification from the BRD’s. This involves travel to the Palo Alto, HP facility and spans over a period of 3 months. The functional specification is
Created using a combination of Business Process Model(BPM) and Flow chart. The tool used is Borland TogetherSoft Architect.
3. Creating technical design document from the Functional Specification adhering to HP technical design and Coding Standards. All the Technical and Functional artifacts are stored and managed in the Borland Caliber Server. The version control system used is Borland Star Team.
4. Doing effort estimation, allocation and tracking using MS Project and empirical data.
5. In addition to above, as our application is critical to HP’s enterprise business we do deep level production support with have tight SLA’s(Service Level Agreement). Almost 20% of my time is spent in analyzing, tracking and solving production tickets. This process needs close interaction with HP’s Business team and Enterprise Customers.
6. As onsite Release Manager located at Cupertino, CA, USA was responsible for coordinating with cross assets(other assets interaction with our application) and clients for smooth application deployment. The Release Manger is responsible for all the aspects of Release Management up till the end of the release and the warranty time.
7. As onsite Development Operations Manager(Palo Alto, CA, USA) was responsible for supporting production application. The role required prioritization of production issues and delivering solutions in a timely manner.
8. As offshore DCC Manager was responsible for putting together physical infrastructure for the software application.
