General Teaching duties including preparation of teaching materials, Session Plans and Resources, Undertaking of summative and formative assessments, Marking of class work/home work, undertaking enrichment and additional educational activities, responsible for classroom and behaviour management, and responsible for feedback to parents, teachers, heads and students.

Delivering both vocational and academic courses for clients which include local colleges and referrals from partnering agencies and Job Centre Plus, Organisations worked with include Forster Community College (Supporting existing Foundation Learning Programme), & UrbanBiz, subcontracted on Youth.inc programme delivering Level1 qualifications in PSD, Customer Services and Employability along with entry to apprenticeships; and subcontracted on Aspire-I functional skills programme delivering English, Maths, PSD, Employability, ICT and Sales & Marketing at Entry Level 3 - Level 2.
Creating schemes of work, session plans and resources, teaching levels 2, 3 and 4 in Vocational & Academic courses including NVQ’s, BTEC, HNC, HND and GCSE. Project design and management as well as delivery of the 6 Month + unemployment initiative, Responsible for maintaining classroom and behaviour management. Catering for different learning styles, developing personally tailored Individual Learning Plans, providing differentiation in terms of delivery, undertaking formative/summative assessments and participating in tutorial sessions. Providing Initial Assessments & Information/Advice/Guidance. Line manager for NVQ volunteer placements & mentor for newly qualified teachers.

Designing & delivering training courses including business/management courses, alternative education; as well as health & safety and soft skills. Producing quality systems, Creation of MI reports/statistics/forecasts. Working with employers to up-skill and train staff at induction and train in customer service, problem solving, organisational systems/procedures. Reviewing training needs, evaluating training success, and future needs. Working with disadvantaged/socially disengaged clients (16-19) from diverse backgrounds considered as being Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET); including travellers, offenders, asylum seekers/refugees, and clients leaving care. Providing training needs analysis (TNA), Information/Advice/Guidance (IAG). Progressing clients through successful completion of courses and transition towards independence and security. Providing after care services including increasing employment potential through skills marketing, and preparing clients for employment via employment progression courses (job search/Interview skills/communication skills/ECDL).
