 Managed the procurement and all related contracts with a yearly value of +50 million USD that included all equipment and materials company wide
 Monitored and prepared weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans for the purchase of raw material utilizing pre-set forecasts as deemed necessary with production and sales
 Integrated conversion rates of the finished product into raw materials and vice versa
 Analyzed and managed the carrying cost of stocks and the order costs so they are minimized to assure efficient cash flow, storage space and product shelf life
 Directed all negotiations with national and international suppliers
 Prepared feasibility studies
 Performed hedging of currency when needed
 Assisted in building up an ERP system
 Monitored prices for freight rates and material globally
 Attended international exhibitions globally and maintained continuous relationships and interactions with worldwide suppliers to stay abreast with material cost, new technologies and products
 Managed import and export clearing and logistics procedures with governing jurisdictions and shipping companies
 Closely coordinated with the company Finance Department to facilitate timely processing of payments to all suppliers
