• Lead and monitor all SCEs, Safety Equipment PM/CM are done in timely manner, and equipment are in good conditions.
• Coordinate the yearly joint venture drill with Government agencies.
• Act as PTW approver when required (i.e. during TMM)
• Perform site supervisions during TMM to ensure contractor, vendor and Shell personnel follow process safety requirements and operational safety requirements.
• Lead and coordinate of the site fire and gas mapping review, noise mapping review and Hazardous area classification review.

iii. Perform annual review of Instrument and Control maintenance plan to ensure plant is maintained in accordance to
Shell RMP (Recommended Maintenance Practice) this include frequency of SCE final element (i.e. ESD valves,
BDVs, SDVs) response time.
iv. Perform updating of Tier 1 instrument and control documents, and drawing to meet Shell OI (Operating Integrity)
requirements, example of Instrument Tier 1 drawings are, CEM (Cause and Effect Matrix), Functional Logic
Diagram, Safeguarding Philosophy Control Philosophy, and Instrument Layout.
v. Lead and execute FGS and IPS logic test at vendor premise in order to update the CEM (i.e. F23, F6, and E11)
vi. Direct involvement in HAZID and HAZOP review. Example, E11 HAZOP review year 2015
vii. Direct involvement in the incident investigation, example E11 liquid carryover incident year 2015.
viii. Lead and execute plant change management process shall found that there is requirement to perform system
change, logic change or hardware change in order to operate safely and cost effective. Process include study,
engineering design, procurement and execution onsite.
ix. Lead and execute special projects because of plant change process i.e. F23 IPS/FGS upgrade, F23 IPS/FGS
upgrade, F6 PCD Upgrade, and F23 PCD Upgrade. Execution are from design stage, procurement of materials,
FAT, commissioning and SAT.
x. Perform final acceptance audit to the new platform which handed over operations (i.e. Laila Platform FAA on
2015)
xi. Perform HBA (Hardware Barrier Assessment) for the assets, A Hardware Barrier Assessment provides assurance of
the integrity status of SCEs for facilities, pipelines and/or wells through the review of all relevant records and documentation and by the physical inspection of the equipment in the field. The purpose of an HBA is to ensure the effectiveness of the Asset Integrity and Maintenance Execution processes and to be able to demonstrate integrity on SCEs to key stakeholders. This is accomplished through physically verifying the Technical Integrity of Safety Critical Element equipment.
xii. Perform coaching the frontline operations in order to operate and maintain the DCS, IPS, FGS, PCD and instruments accordingly.
xiii. Act as CSE (Control System Engineer) for the Sarawak waters, monitoring reliability for control systems (i.e. DCS, IPS and FGS).
xiv. Assist project team in terms of operations and maintenance i.e. HAZOP review for E11RB -Kasawari tie in project.
xv. Assist GK (Gumusut Kakap) project team during PCD segregation project. The scope include FAT support and testing support.
xvi. Perform IPF SIL Review for the Sarawak and Sabah facilities, namely M1, M3, F23, F6, E11, SJ and Barton.
• Supporting TMM (Topside Major Maintenance) team during shutdown/SIMOPS campaign including involvement in AAR (After Activity Review).
