Quality Control Manager

• The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
• Control and the distribution of all the companies quality documentation
• Monitor all quality related activities on the project
• Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the company management
• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
• Attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project bidders.
• Attend client quality management meetings
• The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements
• Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
• Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
• Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QC manager
• Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QA/QC procurement manager
• Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the customer representatives.
• Monitor statistical method reporting.
• Action and close all customer complaints
• Control all documentation upon the completion of the project.
- Monitors, review, comments and reports on progress payments & quality control.
- Prepares necessary draft correspondence for final approval by the Construction manager / Resident engineer.
- Holds daily meeting with the contractor`s representative.
- Prepares the weekly progress reports by using ECG related form.
- Maintains daily diaries of events associated with the work on site by using ECG related forms.
- Review shop drawings & as built drawings for all architectural activities.
- Review method of statements for all activities including ITP & Check lists.
- Witness and supervises commissioning and start-up following activities:
1- Cement Masonry Units (Block Works).
2- Plaster Works
3- Marble, Porcelain & ceramic flooring.
4- Painting works ( gypsum board and plaster )
5- Steel works for handrails.
6- Fire Rated Steel doors including all kinds of hardware.
7- Sarnafil Roof Insulation System (SIKA).
8- Curtain Walls
* 3-2010, ECG Engineering Consultants Group S.A., Cairo, Egypt; (Borg Elarab New Airport).
- Monitors, review, comments and reports on progress payments, quality control & safety.
- Prepares necessary draft correspondence for final approval by the Construction manager / Resident engineer.
- Holds daily meeting with the contractor`s representative.
- Prepares the weekly progress reports by using ECG related form.
- Maintains daily diaries of events associated with the work on site by using ECG related forms.

7- All other normal types of finishing works.
