To supervise and control all activities of the project and ensure execution of the project in
profitable and timely manner.
Responsible for making the initial plan as well as continuous revisions if necessary of the original
plan to meet the project schedule.
Prepares project budget based on inputs received from the Proposals Department and submission
of the same for approval of the Management.
Ensures timely submission of correct invoices to the client and follow up of receivables.
Executes the project in the most efficient and safe manner by implementing the Company’s
procedures in letter and spirit.
Ensure completion of project within the budgeted cost and take appropriate measures of cost
control.
Ensures all elements of the project operate in a seamless mode in order to fulfill all contractual
commitments towards client.
Responsible for keeping a close eye on the progress, cost and expenses of the project to take
appropriate and timely action(s) to prevent project and operational failures.
Strives for removing bottlenecks in the operation for smooth functioning of the project team.
Ensures that actual expenses are within the budget and for any un-budgeted expenses seeks
prior approval of the Management.
Regularly issue monthly cost reports along with projection for latest cost to complete.
Should have proper plan to deal with the expected cost overruns, such overruns either don't
happen or get converted into extra / variation orders.
Ensure the effective achievement of project objectives through leadership, setting individual
objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and
informal feedback and appraisal, in order to maximize the performance of his subordinates and
the site team.
Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to
budgetary limitations
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
