I am acting as the field team leader in charge of financial audits including quarterly reviews, agree-upon procedures for listed companies and non-listed companies in the petrochemicals, retail, manufacturing, construction, medical, hotels and other industries.
• Managed, supervised and performed audit and review engagements in accordance with International Financial Reporting standards (IFRS and SOCPA).
• Audit of clients with subsidiaries, branches with international locations.
• Coaching and supervision of 5+ audit staff members.
• Solving complex accounting issues.
• Mapped, created testing, performed and reviewed walkthroughs, and planned and reviewed test of controls.
• Ensured the audit files are prepared and completed based on our global audit methodology.
• Examining and evaluating financial and information systems and recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Understanding client service needs such as review, audit, agreed upon procedures, etc. and setting out engagement letters to the clients after taking approval from the management.

• Performing client acceptance procedures for new and recurring clients.
• Preparation of audit strategy and business plans, setting budget and plans, scheduling audits, selecting staff and assigning workloads and financial reporting.
• Performed audit based on International Standards on Audit (Understanding of entity’s operations, completing risk identification procedure, responding to risks by control testing and identifying substantive procedures to be performed)
• Liaise between client and engagement manager
• Prepare summary of misstatements and management letter points, attend exit meetings and discuss our audit findings.
