After a wealthy experience with STORK, I am back to Intertek with a regional responsibility for BD.
Tender, fees agreements, technical support customers and client visits locally, regionally and internationally.
In this sense I have secured a 10M US$ contract with Iraqi Ministry of Oil for inspection and metering services.
Also secured several contracts with global clients worth over 1M US$.
Represent Intertek in exhibitions, conferences and forums.
I was recently asked to takeover the management of our Fujairah branch (biggest in the ME) assuming full P&L responsibility in addition to my original role.
2013 - Present Stork Technical Services - Kuwait Branch

• Full P&L responsibility.
• Promoting different business lines of the company.
• Manage a team of 30 permanent staff and 80 temporary.
• Responsible to achieve budget targets.
• Responsible for setting and implementing marketing & sales plans.

2003 - 2013 Intertek Commodities ME - Kuwait Branch
Branch Manager (Kuwait & Iraq): • Reporting to regional VP - Middle East, North Africa, Indian Subcontinent
& Australasia.
• Managing all inspection and laboratory operations with a total staff of 46
(inspectors, technicians, chemists & admin) all with different
nationalities.
• Managing the inspection operations in Kuwait for crude oil, petroleum
products, LPG, Petcoke and Sulphur at KNPC refineries, and chemicals
(MEG, DEG, Styrene, p-Xylene & Benzene) at Equate Petrochemical
Co.
• Provide technical consultancy services for KPC, KOC, KNPC, Equate,
PIC & SAC in Kuwait & Ministry of Oil in Iraq.
• Manage the inspection operations in Iraq for crude oil, petroleum
products, LPG & bulk cargoes like Steel, Cement, Sugar & Grains
(mainly wheat & rice), in addition to calibration works for tanks & flow
meters.

• Promote Intertek group activities within Kuwait & Iraq.
• Have successfully lead the business to boast the Kuwait Branch annual by 4 times from 2003 to 2010, and Iraq sales from 0.6M to 4.0M US$ in three years.
