- Served as an expert/resource for interpretation of state, regulatory, accreditation and certification standards, Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare institutions (CBAHI) in relation to system wide FMS policies & practices and attained accreditation in 31/12/2018
- Develops, maintains and standardizes reports for Accreditation & Regulatory Department.
- Maintain centralized databases and sources of information for PMBNH, Accreditation & Regulatory continuous survey readiness program.
- Provide knowledge and technical support in the event of equipment and plant failure. To ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with the preventative maintenance plan, and reduce equipment down time.
- Follow-up for all kind of tasks related to FMS standards of all facilities and coordinate with TQM department and CBAHI to maintain the safe and secure the hospital environment,
- Troubleshooting, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, CHW Pumps, Package type AC, window & Split Air conditioners, Building Management System (BMS ), electrical panel, over load relays, magnetic contactors circuit breakers, ensure the calibration of thermostats, PCB, and Air Curtains.
- Diagnosing system problems and identifying equipment and solutions needed to rectify the problems.
- Core understanding of determining causes of malfunctions and correcting them properly.
- Performing preventative and general maintenance tasks on HVAC systems.
- Reconditioning of the old machines, fabrication and installation of the new machines.
- Respond to emergency situations in order to resolve issues on an immediate basis.
- Isolation rooms: maintain negative/positive pressure and ACH control (ASHRAE Standards).
- To ensure smooth and effective Operation of steam boilers, compressors, central air conditioning systems, including steam lines, compressed air lines, chilled and tap water lines, and medical gases system.
- Responsibilities for all (PPM) works, Develop and review operation and maintenance procedures and routines in accordance with manufacturer recommendation and improved methods, procedures and programs.
- Monitor progress of maintenance works and follow-up on job work orders.
- Responsible for PPM records for all equipment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly preventive maintenance reports.
- Prepare job work order on CMMS and current status of equipment and system.
- Responsible for site staff daily activities and staff management.
- Observe and strictly follow safety code and perform other duties as assigned.
- Responsibilities of making shop drawing from tender drawing, according to site situation and get approval of shop drawings to execute the HVAC.
- Building Load calculations for AHU, Package Units, pump, fan, pipe and other equipment sizing and selection.
- Execution and Implementation of HVACR drawings on site through skilled workers.
- Supervision of unloading to placement on foundation of HVACR equipment (Chillers, AHU, HRU, and Pumps) through skilled workers to heavy machinery without any damage or injury.
- Supervision, checking and Billing of hired sub-contractor (If any, depending on project).
- Installation and Connection of VRV, Cooling tower, Heat Recovery Units, Air Handling Units, Electric Screw Type Chillers, Boilers, Fan Coil Units, Wall Mounted units, Water cooled Package Units, Humidifiers, Day Oil Tank, expansion Tank Centrifugal Pumps, impulse Jet Fans, CRAC units VRV and CAV along with their assembly and control wiring.
- Coordinate with consultant and contractors related to minimize the hindrances in work and ensure that all work is being done as per specification & drawings.
- Ensure the HVAC Ducts, Fittings, accessories and Child water pipes, fittings, accessories are available and preparing of material submittal to get approval from consultant prior to installation.
- Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with specification, design and according to approved shop drawing and get daily progress report from site supervisor.
- Plant Room construction and finishing work.
- Active involvement in weekly meetings with the Project management & QC Supervisor and manager to resolve the site related issues.
- Prepare the request for inspection (RFI) and manage material and equipment tests.
- Reviewing daily logs and reports and maintaining records of inspections made, tests performed, and work executed.
- To ensure required Inventory for HVAC system.
- Assist the Commissioning Team in Pre-commissioning & Commissioning stages of all HVAC Equipment’s.
- Assist the Commissioning Team on Testing, Adjusting & Balancing of the Air and Hydronic Piping.
- Assist the Project Engineer during Preparation of final Test Reports, as built drawings, Operation & Maintenance manual and handing over the project to client
