I am currently working as solution architect in Ooredoo's Enterprise Architecture and design team. My responsibilities includes creating high level design for the projects involving Data warehouse. It includes working with other architects to capture how the design should be in upstream / downstream applications as well. Upstream applications involve Ericsson IN, EMM Mediation, Bundle Manager, Service Manager, CRM, Geneva Billing, IVR, Remedy, Payment gateway, Matrix for digital customers, Comptel Mediation, Selfcare Mobile App, MRMS direct sales, OIM inventory module etc. Downstream applications involve working with Enterprise Information Framework (Big data solution based on Pivotal & Java based), Campaign management systems including Aprimo & Flytxt.
I am also working as a member of DWH audit committee within DWH governance to review the design for on going DWH projects.

Responsibilities:
The project was focused to implement DWH solution to fulfill IFRS Engine's business requirements. Contract data was sourced from multiple source systems and mapped on standard telecom data model (cLDM). Data was prepared by cleaning, conforming and integrating multiple sources together and then passed to IFRS engine for accounting. The solution involved creating contract definition in DWH, correlating MSISDN level information for plans, discounts, add-ons, device installments, prime numbers, termination / suspension against contract data. SSP, MRC & ETC were calculated based on the rules provided and then reconciled with IAS 18 data.

I worked as Business Intelligence Lead | Solution Architect to gather reporting requirements from business users and implementing them in form of Microstrategy Reports. It includes requirement gathering from business users, analysis of the requirement, doing the gap analysis, CLDM data modeling, Semantic Layer data model design changes, and Microstrategy based reports and dashboard creation.
Besides regular reporting requirements, I was involved in data modeling & mapping for cLDM implementation for prepaid customers. It includes Network Activity, Network, Subscription and Event subject area.

Farooqi was involved in semantic layer analysis and design of a large airline company based in UAE to design Semantic Layer of their Phase 1 requirements. The objective for the first phase of the project was to integrate different source systems within Booking (PNR), Ticketing, Flown, Targets, Capacity and OD to have an overall track of the life cycle of a booking reference (PNR).

This Project was Microstrategy based BI platform that was capable of delivering reports and analytics for any type of web application. Reporting was primarily focused on online sale/impression of Intel based Netbooks/Notebooks from a particular retailer’s website. Farooqi Co-Architect the Data Warehouse Design, ETL Architecture in Pentaho, Analytics storage format design, Storyboarding for Dashboards, Microstrategy in-memory cubes, Solution Design in Microstrategy and administration of Microstrategy based customer portal.
