• In-charge of development, implementing, monitoring of health and safety management system.
• Define risk and work out suitable control measures.
• Examine plan & specification for new machinery’s or equipment to determine if all safety precautions have been included.
• To ensure personnel are trained on best standard to be observed while at work.
• To identify and manage unsafe act and unsafe condition in other to avert work hazards.

• Responsible for Supervising and managing activities of all HSE Officers/Team and to ensure compliance to client requirements, approved HSE plan & procedures.
• Prepare HSE plan in Accordance with the client HSE management system & relevant regulations.
• To ensure all work carried out are conform with local and international standards (QCS 2014).
• Perform other work assigned by line manager.
• Responsible for coordinating and preparing the development of generic specific HSE programs, procedures, training material, and seminars for the project.
• Organized and Participates in meetings with project team members, and contractors/subcontractors to advise them of safety requirements that may affect project.
• Responsible to determine the requirement for safety clothing, device, build, install or direct installation of safety device on machinery.
• Ensure standards are observed and health and safety approved procedure are followed.
• Investigate all accident, near miss to prevent any future recurrence.
• Conduct risk assessment and hazard identification on site.
• Liase with client on HSE issue and conduct joint site inspection.
• Provide professional advice to site management team on HSE related issues.
• Planning and execution of accident prevention programme including training and orientation
• Develop waste management programme in line with client requirements and QCS 2014 standard.
• Communicate roles and responsibilities to staff and follow up on adherence.
• Collate man hour statistics and calculate accident frequency rate.
